The theme of "letting go" has made a very known and un-welcomed presence in my life lately. At times like these, you cannot avoid the truth, well maybe for a moment, however it will flood into the backs of your eyes in the minutes, hours, days that you are alone with no distractions. You cannot evade the reality that what once was- is no longer, or soon will not be. The best thing you can do, is focus on the grieving so that it may pass, and then allow yourself to portion out a huge hefty serving of grace to go on top of it. A Sundae of "letting go," grief, and grace to cleanse the palette for the new things that will soon come. Through each painful situation we grow, and we heal, and sometimes we are just better because of it.
