An AU where Yuuri is a broadway actor who finally scores his big break earning a main role in the upcoming production directed by the famous Lilia Baranovskaya. He also ends up working alongside his inspiration and idol, Viktor Nikiforov, and Yuuri is soon thrown into the world of showbiz that isn't always glitz and glamour. The part of the audience rarely do see. Alternatively, they could both be upcoming actors who both score their big breaks and they go through the journey of fame together.

Lynn couldn't fully understand how she managed to concentrate with her under the same roof– professional as she may be, the blonde found her way under the girl's skin no matter what.
Rehearsals were always fun, active, fluent– full of energy, and whenever it was her turn under the spotlight, the redhead gave her all to sing about the cruelties of unrequited love, though it was not Marius in her mind as her voice broke under theatrical despair– it was the beautiful girl playing Cosette.

Continuing from this in drabble form, sorry, I’m getting sleepy:
When Jim dials the number, his hands are sweating and he nearly calls the thing off right then and there. Nyota would kill him, he thinks, and he punches in the final number.
McCoy answers on the third ring, his voice clipped and professional, but as soon as Jim says, “Um,” his tone softens and Jim melts along with it.
"Hey, Jim. Was wondering when you’d call."
It’s a downward spiral from there and Jim doesn’t remember the rest of the conversation. When he looks down, dazed and flushed, he sees a date, a time, and a local cafe written on the back of his grocery list, and so he must have accomplished something.
Their first date- Jim doesn’t realize it’s a date until it’s over- is spent with McCoy in a pair of mirrored sunglasses, smiling apologetically and mouthing “Paparazzi” when Jim arrives. They talk about McCoy’s work, the productions he’s performed in, and Jim tells him his least favorite character is Enjolras before he can stop himself.
"Oh?" McCoy asks, his spaghetti slipping from his fork in his distraction. "How come?"
Jim’s mortified, but he’s come this far and McCoy’s lifted the sunglasses off his face to eat, his eyes fixed intently on Jim’s face. “He should’ve known a good thing when he saw it,” he says at last, and doesn’t tell McCoy about the hours he’s lain awake at night, wondering why the hell Enjolras hadn’t grabbed Grantaire and kissed him right then and there in front of the uniformed soldiers.
McCoy watches him a long time, a peculiar expression pulling at the corners of his eyes, and he laughs softly before setting his fork down. “You’re interesting,” he says, and Jim flushes warmer.
“À la prochaine,” McCoy tells him before he departs, then he smiles and sets their second date while Jim’s still struggling over the translation.

So wonderful! More, please….
Ahhhhhhh sorry, I didn't plan on continuing this one. I will, however, offer you a tidbit of what would happen afterwards:
Jim keeps coming back and ends up attending the rest of the showings. He only goes to the last autograph session though, and he forgets everything he was planning to say when he reaches Leonard McCoy and sees him right there, not far away on some distant stage, but just barely feet away. And God, he looks even better up close.
McCoy's hand is firm and warm when he shakes it, and Jim stutters like a teenage kid head over heels in a helpless crush when he introduces himself.
"Jim, huh?" McCoy asks, and Jim's already about to die when McCoy continues, "You've been here every time."
And the fact that he noticed, that he picked Jim out of the crowds all these times, pushes Jim off the fence and headfirst into fucki'minlovewithhim.
Then McCoy signs Jim's program, glances up at him once and grins before handing it back. Jim's too dazed to realize until later, sitting at home, that McCoy's written his number in thick black letters beneath his name and a crooked heart.

“Christ, they just eat him up,” Lily muttered as she flipped through the latest headlines splattered across every local tabloid and Entertainment section. Her husband chuckled as he placed a light kiss on her cheek.
“Yeah, but so do you.”
She pushed the messy-haired man away from her. “Cheeky bastard.”
"That’s not what you were saying last night," he sang.
Face as red as her hair, the chorus girl had no response to give to Broadway’s newest favorite.
"I don't think I did that right."
