BronySister goes to BronyCon!

This is a new thing I will be starting about my experience of BronyCon 2014 and how the the Brony Family changed a bad BronySister to an understanding Brony.

Going to Boston for the weekend to meet with my BronyCon department heads to discuss some post-BronyCon things. Do any attendees have any comments/complaints/suggestions they'd like to pass along to the heads of Registration?

Bubbly Pinkie

During my whole trip to Bronycon people kept staring at me and my friends.

Probably didn't help I used one of them as a pillow all the time or had them lead me everywhere while I was blind in cosplay.

One person even told me I should break up with my boyfriend when he tried to kill a twilight plush with his sword. He wasn't my boyfriend though.

Still getting a good laugh out of that

First time cosplaying was so much fun.

This is the first picture I've found of myself.

Hopefully next year i'll have the bubble/party cannon working and have a better shoe situation. I did have on pretty high heels the first day but they got so uncomfortable.

Wow... Bronycon 2014...

This con was... just... wow...

I don't mean to ramble, but this was probably one of the best cons I have been to in a long time. Not because it was smooth or because it was fun (however, it was both of those things), but more because I personally saw some of the magic come back from older cons. Not just with Alex being a bro and coming back and deciding to do an encore performance, but more because of this convention's lack of drama with the musicians, and how well things were handled both on and off the stage.

I saw at this con, my friends coming together and just having  a good time with the convention. It was chill, and magical. And the performances were spot fucking on! Several of the performances, Mic, DB, Odyssey Eurobeat, Cyril, Garnika, and everyone else, were at the top of their game. They performed well, and the crowd responded well. And I saw something new in some of the performers, sort of a zen-like confidence and stage presence that I have not noticed before, which I am very happy and privileged to be observing, because I feel like that confidence is what drives them in the direction of new levels of performing.

For my friends:

Forest and Decibelle, wonderful set and I am happy to have seen it! You two are wonderful people, and great friends. The time I spend chilling with you and rooming with you was silly fun and also extremely enjoyable, and I hope we can do it again someday.

Travis, I've seen you con after con performing. Wonderful set, you were at the top of your game, and I loved watching it. You deserved that praise from Daniel, and I hope you have wonderful opportunities headed your way. You are a wonderful person, and always a pleasure to be around in cons.

Mic, sorry we didn't get to chill most of the con, but for the few days we did do things, I am happy we did. It's always a pleasure to just veg out with ya and shoot the shit.

ChiChi, you are sweet as pie, and it was so much fun hanging with you this entire con. I wish you the best at your school, and I hope to see you at future cons. Every cent was worth it to me for you to be here, and I am so glad you came! Have a safe trip home :3

Pinkaboo, you've been a saint this entire con. You made everything work incredibly well, you were the one who brought the magic back, and you are the reason that Bronypalloza 2014 was such a great experience for everyone. Thank you for picking up the ball and setting bar high for many conventions to come, then taking it in modest stride. Congratulations gurl :3

To everyone else, I love ya and wish you all a safe trip home. This post-con depression is gonna hit me hard, mostly because I am going to be thinking about how great this con was, not just for myself, but for everyone around me who had a great time, and all the amazing performances I saw and equally amazing people I met. Thank you to my friends for making this a more pleasurable experience than it was, thank you to the Bronycon staff for making this con wonderful.
