Plot Bunnies: Brooklyn Rogers
When SHIELD decided to test the results of using Steve Rogers’ DNA, they were surprised but pleased that the resulting girl showed super solider qualities.
The organization named her Brooklyn, in honor of her biological father, and raised her up. They hoped to have a new symbol of justice one day.
Then Steve Rogers was found on ice.
Suddenly, Brooklyn has a present parent and she’s not quite sure how to feel about that.
Add in an alien invasion?
Things are about to get interesting.
All though there is kind of a large age gap, do you think Bucky and Y/N’s kids and Peggy and Steve’s kids in Howlin for you would be really close ?

Even though Ian and Brooklyn are a few years older than Owen, Grayson, and Amelia, the kids all get along swimmingly.
Despite not being blood related, they all view each other as cousins. It’s actually quite adorable when Bucky and Y/N have to explain to a young Owen and Grayson that they’re not actually related to Ian and Brooklyn. The boys start crying immediately.
It’s then that Bucky gives them a little talk, explaining that there’s family one is born into and family that one builds for themselves. One isn’t better than the other. They’re just different.
When Brooklyn gets older, she actually ends up babysitting her cousins quite a lot. She’s responsible and mature for her age. And by some miracle the twins and Amelia listen to her.
Despite the various age differences, all the Howlie kids get along.
I’d adopted her from violet--galaxy on DeviantArt a couple months ago, but didn’t get around to making a coloured reference til now lol!

i’m not sure if you’ve answered this before but what do you think a vacation would be like in HOF with Bucky Y/N and their kids? Do you think they’d go on ones with Steve Peggy and their kids?

There’s a little bit of an age gap between Steve’s kids and Bucky’s kids. But they definitely still try to pull off some family trips together. It is chaotic to say the least.
Bucky is pulling out his hair, trying to make sure the twins don’t set something on fire. Meanwhile, Amelia is always just reading a book quietly to herself or writing in a journal. She’s sometimes helping Uncle Steve sketch new ideas for tattoos or they’re just drawing together.
Peggy and Y/N try to have a mother/daughter activity with Amelia and Brooklyn. Usually they’ll go get pedicures or a massage or just go shopping. Aunt Peggy is kind of an idol of Amelia. She really looks up to her.
Ian likes to hang out with his Aunt Y/N. When they were on a beach trips when he was younger, he’d go hunting for the best seashells and bring them back to her. Or he’d beg her to help him make “the best sand castle the world has ever seen.”
Hello. Sorry, english is not my language. "Howlin' for you" is in my top 3 favorites fics with Bucky. But i have a question about Steve. Which kind of husband and father he is ? And what did think about Reader when she begins to date Bucky ? Thank you.

Steve is oddly a very traditional husband for being a biker, mechanic, and tattoo artist. Beyond the club, hes managed to keep his life fairly normal. But that’s what he realized he had to do to keep Peggy and to have a family with her. Peggy wanted normal, so that’s what he gave her.
The Carter-Rogers family has been much more fortunate the Y/N and Bucky. Steve’s wife and kids have never been threatened or gotten even close to being involved with Commando business. So they’ve managed to keep their life a little more typical.
Steve spends as much time with the kids as possible. He does arts and crafts with them. He draws and paints with them. Brooklyn and Ian are spoiled that their dad is an artist and loves doing that kind of stuff with them. He’s a very hands on father and husband. He’s very grateful for his family and he’ll do anything to make them happy and to keep them safe
When Steve first saw the way Bucky looked at the new girl in town, he suspected things were about to really change. He’d sat back and watched Bucky jump from fling to fling all of their lives. So when Bucky started a bar fight over a beautiful girl he didn’t even know? Steve knew it was game over.
Steve likes Y/N immediately. She didn’t put up with any of Bucky’s shit and she challenged him. It took a certain type of woman to date a Howlie and Steve knew Y/N was that type.
Mostly, Steve was glad that he finally found someone to really commit to and love.
Steve sees Y/N as family. Just like the rest of the Howling Commandos do.
I would be interested in seeing an oc as a love interest for Brooklyn Rogers :)
I’m highly considering it! From what I can tell, that option is behind in the poll but at the end of the day, it’s my OC. So, we’ll see! ☺️
