My dad, as a proud New Yorker, absolutely adores “Brooklyns Here” in Newsies because, according to him, “Brooklyn would kick everyone’s asses.” And I love him so much for that.

See i’m very passionate about Newsies. Especially Brooklyns here. One of the many ways you can see this is if you ever happen to come upon me screaming my actual soul out to the point that i might loose my voice when i do ot too much during “AND SO’S DA BRONX!” Its truly and utterly terrifying how much i am willing to sacrifice to deliver that one line.
