“The Taste of Death” - Quest

I felt horrible about the fact that you cannot complete this quest without killing Verulus, but I also couldn’t let Eola continue to convince others to bring lambs for the slaughter. With this in mind, I devised a plot. I used a Soul Trap weapon to kill Verulus, placed an Amulet of Arkay in his inventory out of respect, and used the Black Gem his soul went to in order to craft an enchanted ring named “Ring of Verulus.” I took this ring and placed it before the Shrine of Arkay in Markarth’s Hall of the Dead and activated Arkay’s Blessing. Essentially, I had stolen his soul from Namira, and laid him to rest with Arkay where he may channel Arkay’s power throughout Tamriel forever. Once this was done, I brought Eola to the Boethiah Altar and sacrificed her. Taken from this world as a sacrifice to another Daedric Prince, she will not meet her Lady of Decay in the afterlife but know the taste of undutiful bloodshed like she made me inflict upon Verulus. Above all, no more innocent blood will be spilt on her behalf.

Part of me thinks I thought about this for way too long...
