Flufftober 4 - Set in another time

A/N: Day four of this challenge.

"So, what do you think?" Mitchell's voice didn't betray her. It was sturdy and calm. But the twitching fingers betrayed her.

You take another look at what was before you. Mitchell's first line of clothes. Her full debut as a fashion designer. The clothes on the mannequins looked gorgeous. And they looked clearly inspired by an old fashion. Dresses with puffy skirts, tuxedos... Of course, they weren't carbon copies of old-fashioned clothes; they were clearly modernized. But they will be very new ideas in comparison to the current fashion world. Even the showroom was decorated in an old-fashioned style. The feeling of time was clearly important to Margaret.

"It felt like your debut would be set in another time in the greatest way possible."

Margaret raised an eyebrow.

"What?"

You grinned, waving at the clothes.

"Just think about it. Fashion of the past was elegant and royal but also uncomfortable. But you retain the elegance and add comfort! People will like it, I assure you, Margaret. You did great, my dear!"

Women looked away, blushing.

"Thank you, [Y/N]."

You smile becomes bigger. You gave her a side hug.

"Don't worry. Nathaniel and I will be by your side during the show."

She chucked.

"Thank you again."

You smiled. Another member of the BSD Cast found their place in the Real World. And, as before, you can't describe the strength of happiness you felt because of it. You cared about their happiness and comfort. It was great. Life was great.
