Today is my Broken Sword Papercraft blog's birthday ! 1 year old !

Yeah :D

The purpose of this blog was to share with you the work in progress of my fanmade miniseries. But it's been almost a year that I released the second episode, and even if I have written almost the entire script long ago, I haven't done the graphics part (which is create an all new set, remake a new Lobineau, and also create 2 new characters).

This takes a lot of time, and I was busy enough (work and other projects) to pause it for a while. 

So I'll try to go back to it from time to time, because I want to finish what I started, and I have lots of funny ideas to continue my story (and conclude it).

If you're at least a $50+ backer, you certainly got the project update #85 mail.

There's a new digital reward available in your Humble account that was discussed in the Revolution forum: the 20 one-liners speech files.

They where chosen by the backers via this forum page.

Revolution team split the text so that each speech is one file. So you end up with a folder containing…74 items ! But there are still 20 conversations.

How to find this reward

To get these reward, just log in your Humble Bundle Library account, and under "All your purchases", click on "Broken Sword 5".

You'll find your claimed page and download all the rewards you're allowed to have. At the end of the list, you can find the 20 one-liner speech files.

When BS5 Episode 1 android version was released, I posted a couple of pictures from my phone (here).

So now that Episode 2 is out, I just started it, here are some screenshots !

I had to manually download the game. You don't have to download both episodes because you can start episode 2 without a save state.

Funny thing: I wanted to make a screenshot when the Goat achievement appears, but there is no way I could do it. it's an empty file. I tried twice and it's the same result, no picture.

Did you try to play Episode 2 on Android ? What did you think about it ?

Last post about the Broken Sword 5 backer box. (If you haven't read my previous post, click here, then there)

Now for BS5 DVD installer, as you can see in the pictures above, there is a nice menu that points to the webpages of the "technical support" and "documents" (director's notes and digital manual). Now if you click on "install", it runs the Steam installer. I haven't been further, not because I don't like Steam (I have a Steam account so...) but because I prefer to do it on Windows later.

But I guess that you just have to install Steam and then it adds the game on your library. The question is: Does it uses the data on the DVD or does it download from Steam ? That I don't know, feel free to share your experience in the comments below, my twitter (@BSPapercraft) and / or in this Revolution forum thread.

The only thing missing in that box is BS5 game manual. If you look at the back of the DVD case, it's clearly written that the manual is digital only. There's even a link to download it. That's what I did a few weeks ago (see my post about it) but honestly I thought there would be a good old real paper manual in a "just like the old days" way...

Hi there, I don't update often these days because I'm busy with another upcoming project (nothing related to broken sword), but I downloaded #brokensword5 on my phone (android) yesterday, and it works great. Take a look at the pictures ;-)
