The Coping Mechanisms in This Fandom Deserve an Oscar, Actually.

So i just witnessed another post bashing Jimin solos (because that's the trending sport of the week apparently), and well.. funny thing is, the entire post aged like milk under 24 hours because plot twist: Jimin is receiving death threats right now. But nah, let's not talk about that. Let's circle back to the real crime: Jimin solos existing.

And you know what truly sent me? Some random reply under a quote repost screaming "Why are you defending Jimin solos?! JK won't fuck Jimin!!!"

... I'm sorry, what? What kind of Cirque du Soleil mental gymnastics did you perform to jump from "Jimin solos are annoying" to "JK won't be raw-dogging Jimin"? The person who quote reposted didn't even defend Jimin solos, bestie, calm down. But your brain really said: Jimin solos annoying => Someone says "Hmm you're not talking about the ACTUAL issue and this is only attracting antis to your page => OH NO, PAY GORN, SAY GEX INCOMING.

I mean the sheer velocity with which some of y'all spin into delusion is impressive. Like, Olympic level delusion.

But let's talk about this weird phenomenon where solos act like they own the member they solo stan. Like "I'm a JK solo, therefore i will bite, scratch, claw and bark at any living being he's close to." Y'all do realize the members have known each other for over a decade, right? They've lived together, cried together, succeeded together, and you think your Twitter fingers have more insight into their relationships than they do? Girl be serious.

You don't like OT7? Fine, go ahead, live your half-baked solo stan life. But the very LEAST you could do is not spew venom at the people your fave literally loves and trusts. You calling Jimin or Tae or JK names like "pigmin" or "nosekook" or "baldhyung" (yep, we've seen all of these) doesn't change the fact that they're close. That's not how friendship, or reality, works.

And the whole enlistment arc? Comedy gold.

When those people speculated about Tae and JK enlisting together, Tae solos and JK solos teamed up like it was "Infinity War: Solo Stan Edition". Fangs out, rabies foaming, barking like chihuahuas on Red Bull. All because someone said "Wouldn't it be cute if they enlisted together?"

They didn't. And yet.. the barking continued. The war raged on.

THEN Jimin and JK enlist together and suddenly the internet flips. JK solos immediately scream "GROOMING! MANIPULATION! JIMIN WHY!!"

But hold on, plot twist again, it comes out that JK initiated the buddy system. Now Jimin solos flip and go "Why can't he leave Jimin alone?!"

And Tae solos, bless their chaotic little hearts, still manage to insert themselves into the narrative like, "Good! Leave Tae out of this!!" and proceed to call both Jimin and JK names.

You're not even in this war! Why are you fighting?! This is not your anime arc! Pack it up.

The best part? After all that foaming at the mouth, keyboard smashing, and projecting, the boys are just.. happy. Thriving. Living their best lives. Unbothered. Meanwhile you're still in your solo stan echo chamber, clutching your fantasy life it pays rent.

Hate to break it to you, but you don't get to dictate who these men love, trust, spend time with, or go to the military with. You're not their CEO, psychic, or parent. You are a pixel in the void. No matter how many hasthags you spam or how many edits you make cutting a member out of the group photos, the reality is: you're just an incel with a K-pop obsession.

And the final gag? You say you love your fave so much, but can't even respect the people they love. What does that say about you?

I'll tell you what it says: You don't actually respect your fave. You just use them as an avatar for your own unresolved emotional damage and weird little power trip.

Anyway, save up your money for the BTS tour. For clarity.

I’m like so hyped for the bts album like they are all looking so grown and just like fucking men ugh idk how to explain it. They just seem like so relaxed, more themselves, and excited to be performing again.

Once B.ts title tracks started sounding like Disney Osts I lost interest. I don't even keep up with them anymore. I stopped watching everything

I feel you! Personally it took me a long time to get used to their newer songs and I like them in general but I think the overexposure was what did it for me, didn’t felt special to me anymore and I just got gradually tired of their promos.

BTS LINE DISTRIBUTIONS

With the air smelling like comeback time, I feel like this should be adressed again because I just know that there's gonna be some kind of issue when the new title track drops. Of course, it's about line distributions.

First of all, I want to remind everyone that the boys have said several times that they give out lines depending on whose voice suits the part the best.

Demanding that they split the song evenly in seven parts would not only reduce the quality but also limit their artistic approach. There's a reason why a certain member sings a certain line and the other does not. Bts is a team and every single one of them has a specific role in that team.

They obviously discuss everything together when making those decisions and talk a lot to their producers. What they present to us in the end is the finished product they liked best.

I'm so glad they haven't shown us the behind the scenes process of making their songs, because a lot of you wouldn't be able to handle it. Especially, if we were to hear constructive criticism or how one member's approach got chosen over the other members approach. I already hear the "omg look how x is being mistreated, they never pick his ideas or melodies" comments and tweets.

A hip hop track is going to feature the rap line more, whereas a pop track is going to feature the vocal line more. You can't expect yoongi to pull a jungkook when singing dynamite lmao. They each have their thing and that's what makes the group so special compared to other groups where the worst singer is chosen to be the rapper even though he knows nothing about rapping. Likewise, you can't expect tae to rap like hobi in mic drop.

Looking more closely at the vocal line, it is clear that jungkook gets the most lines. Again, there are reasons for that. He is the main vocalist for a reason. He is the most stable while singing live and compared to jimin or tae for example he has a more neutral tone, which compliments both jimins and jins high voices and taes deep voice. He is like the perfect middle ground. Jimins voice for example is great for highlighting certain parts of a song because he always gives them this unique feel and out of all of them I feel like he has the most distinct or unique tone. Same goes for tae and jin in their respective parts, they both add something to their lines. It's all about balance and the end result is always great.

As for the rap line, I have noticed that namjoon often gets a stand alone part whereas yoongi and hobi often rap back to back. That again has its reasons. Hobis and yoongis voices are similar in tone even though their rap styles are different, that's why they compliment each other so well.

What I'm trying to say is, no one is getting "mistreated" because they have less lines than another member. They are grown men who have always been hands on in their music production, they know how to speak up. I mean, jin always calls the company publicly out when he doesn't like something what makes you thing that he keeps quiet behind closed doors??

The boys always praise their company, their staff and their producers. Believe me, they are perfectly fine other wise they wouldn't have renewed their contract.

In conclusion, they don't need you to "save" them and start petitions and boycotts in their name. Just enjoy the songs they give to us and if you don't like them, don't listen to them. No one is holding you on a leash and forcing you to stay lmao

*START RANT*

So first thing first, too many of my friends in Hawaii don’t understand why I love BTS so much.

Normally that wouldn’t bother me, but they’ve become so negative about it that I need to at least rant about it somewhere and all of this started bc of one simple question.

Why do you like BTS?

I always have the same answer:

I really love their friendship.

Now, if I’m completely honest—and this is probably a really unpopular opinion but—Run! BTS is what made me fall in love with these boys. Not their music.

Like yes, I love their music and so many of their songs have brought me back from dark places and that only strengthened my admiration of them. But seeing who they really are and how they treat, not only each other, but everyone they come into contact with is just… wow.

I watched interviews and Run! BTS episodes waaaay before I started actively listening to their music. From day one, their friendship completely stole my heart. The way they love each other so deeply and genuinely want the best for one another is everything I’ve ever hoped to find in my own circle of friends and never thought actually existed.

When I sit down and watch a Run! BTS episode, I feel like I’m sitting down with old friends. When they succeed, I feel like I’m succeeding. When they laugh, I can laugh and feel like I’m part of the conversation. When they comfort each other, it somehow comforts me too and makes me feel better.

Watching them be who they just naturally are in their everyday lives gives me hope.

Hope to be a better person and a hope that I’ll eventually surround myself with better people. So that I can be able to give back positivity into the world just like they do. They inspire me to do the things I never thought I could do and they remind me that making mistakes is okay.

Plain and simple: BTS feeds my soul in a way that I’ve been desperately looking for but never found before them.

So, no matter how many insults or scoffs I get, my answer will never change that I am so grateful for letting BTS into my life.

Rant(DONT PLAGARIZE MY SHIT AND PUT IT ON WATTPAD)

Am I the only one that kinda hates Wattpad now? Like I used to think the writing on there was great but now I read it and it's mad basic and uncreative

Here's what I mean the story will start like this

"I start my day im going to see my boyfriend, Jungkook from BTS(some bullshit author thought) omo I love him so much,(author thought again) but I don't know if he loves me,(author puts random emoticon for no reason) anyway I start my day going to see my boyfriend and we haven't talked in a long time(another unneeded opinion from the author)....."

Like I can try to enjoy stories that have no creative open cause let's be honest its hard af to start off a story but when after almost EVERY SENTENCE you need to put some shitty thought that will pull me out of a decent or okay story I give up on it at that point like it feels like the story is plagiarized and they're just adding their thoughts to make up for it which has happened to one of my fics already btw if you see any of my fics but BESIDE YOU is the one I found on there let me know or report it for plagiarism someone legit took Beside you and added "author thoughts" and extremely koreaboo type of adjustments to my story. I purposely don't use certain things because it's irritating you will rarely if ever see me using Omo, yah, yeobo, annyeonghasyo, chagiya etc.. I do though use the honorifics so you can know if the reader is younger but I try to use proper honorifics such as -nim(a professional in their field, ex PD-nim) Oppa(older male female perspective) Unnie(older female female perspective) Hyung (older male friend male perspective) Noona(older female friend male perspective)

Every time I read a rant about BTS’s hypocrisy, I am laughing out loud.

They make money. And that is how the real world works.

Beautiful speech at UN and praises from the President, well, yes. Considering the amount of money and tourists they bring to South Korea. Considering the power they have over millions of ARMies. At that point not only Mr. President must praise them, but also kiss their feet. Does the talent or social work they do matters here? You tell me.

They’re having 4 ass concerts in LA during the pandemic. My guys, it is of course a questionable thing, but that is how real life works. They bring money, so they’ll have concerts.

1 tiny album in a very long time? It does not matter at this point. I think they earn more from the notebooks and pencils than from the albums, so why bother.

Environmental pollution? What are you guys talking about? It is all about profit and always will be. And I am not being sarcastic. I knew that stuff at age of 6.

Love yourself company? Also great stuff. Everyone should love themselves. Also voicing their constant fear of gaining weight and getting tanned, their fear of getting old... That is how I do stuff XDDD That is also how the real life works. 

But there is also this option when you can choose not to be their fan, you shouldn’t pay for membership in order to pay for more stuff later lol etc.

You can always stan The amazing devil, who can’t even ask for your support normally, but are bothering themselves to call you “Loves” and “darlings” once in two years, mumbling while asking for 20 pounds for an album that is made through blood, sweat and tears (sorry for that lol). And the only environmental damage is done to Joey’s kitchen when he decides to bake a cake lol

I adore BTS with all the might of my burning heart. But I also know how this life works. And once you do it that way, nothing is shocking or scandalous anymore. 

Although I’m trying to imagine being ARMY at really young age, while needing all those notebooks, photos and pencil sets lol I would have needed a full time job for it back then lol
