Talk about bittersweet! I am a little bit heartbroken. Obviously the boys deserve this and more, but man...it's gonna be sad seeing them on different teams, even though Hutty's already killing it and I'm sure Eisy's gonna have a fine time in Bridgeport. Just...they had such a special thing together, and I feel like not a lot of people saw that. But WE and many other fans did, so there's that... Sad about Gavin, not shocked about Boisvert. I hope we don't lose too many other guys, although I'll be happy to root for whomever is left and whomever is new! Still, mostly good, just trying to find motivation to keep working on my fic. God I was so NERVOUS for this game!!! I just did not want the season to end, not yet, for such selfish reasons. And then to have Eisy score TWO goals??? He does NOT want his boy to leave yet!!! It was sweet that Hutty got a goal, and Harvey too he's had such a good year, and it sucks that Gavin lost his, but!!! THEY WON!!! Also that's so crazy about Mack but I do think you're right, he was at the Beanpot last year which is obviously at TD Garden. What a night!!! I'm just happy they lived to see another one even though this one was bittersweet!!!

read the first part of cant say we didn't try and im just . you've done it again. you do it all the time. very few people understand these intricate dynamics as much as you do and i just wanted to squeal and hug you because you GET IT!!! i loved it. it was so perfect. so excited for the rest. and feeling extra extra emotional about it because its so likely the BU season (and the coles' time together) could end as soon as this week. sigh. anyways. loved it <3 - bu anon

I am sooooooooo happy you think all of that because literally this story should've been started before last week but the imposter syndrome just got to me lol. I am very very VERY much trying hard to do so much right with this story and the Coles in particular, and the plot is getting very complex in my head lol, so thank you, I'm glad you appreciate it and that I'm doing right with everything. This is a BU story at heart, so the Coles and the other guys deserve good portrayals! And yes I am sooooo sad about what could happen this week...but I am gonna be hopeful for content and such over the summer, and maybe a little more time, if we can get it!

bu anon is BACK okay one clarification because i fucked up on my end. it's the first time in three years (not six) since BU has swept BC. hilariously, the last two years we've played them we've only been able to beat then at TD garden for beanpot semifinal and final. never at conte or agganis LOL. this team is so dumb im obsessed with them. cole eiserman trying to look cool or suave is just so endearing to me. like cole baby i remember your first BU game so well still. youre such a newborn. at the game i was telling my friend that he's grown up so much and she looked at me like i was crazy but he has!! end of the season always gets me a bit emo though

re hutson and hagens. it was lowkey very funny because it was a play against the boards (hagens didnt have a great night. he had like 3-4 breakaways and yegorov saved every single one of them. hilarious for me) and hutson just seems so much bigger than hagens on the ice so cole was just like bodying him and they jawed at each other for a bit even though the puck had long gone away from them. very fun for the narratives. and at one point hagens and eiserman were facing off and they had a little giggle fest. i was like im allowing this because BU is up 2-0 right now and you guys are being darling. just details like that i was particularly noticing this time around that were splendid. oh also when hutson assisted eiserman's goal they were super cute in the celly and very smiley. very adorable shit happening in front of me. handshake line as it always is with BU vs BC was longer than usual just because of the familiarity these players have with each other!!! its so fascinating because this rivalry means a lot to both schools and their fans but it's also one thats so close to home because so many of the players know each other, you know? its raw its brutal its aggressive but the level of respect there has always been so high. its quite lovely

Ha anon, totally fine! Three years is still a nice chunk of time to not sweep a team, and considering BU's season, again, like you said, makes it even better that they did it!

AHHH I FEEL YOU SOOOOO MUCH THEY ARE SO DUMB AND YET I AM SO ENDEARED???? How is no one else endeared??? Crazy. But I bet Eiserman has grown up a lot, obviously you know better than me. I can def see where he used to be much more goofy/awkward. And I can't even imagine how you're feeling. I've been invested for much less time than you and I'm already feeling too much about the Coles being separated, let alone any of the other guys who jump as well.... THAT IS REALLY FUNNY!!! I find Hutty to be smaller than I expect (having seen him in person and on the ice, he just seems so slight) but I haven't seen James Hagens in person YET, so it's interesting to me that Hutty looks bigger than him, because I would've expected them to be nearish to each other in size. And that's even funnier, because the UNH players were totally trying to get under Hutty's skin the entire game and he wasn't letting them, so for him to be going at James Hagens in that way is just sending me. And I love that for James and Eisy, and I saw at least two angles of the Coles celly and it was just so much, it made me sooooo happy! And I bet, it's really funny how well some of them know each other (like Eiserman and Teddy Stiga, they hang out over the summer, my two fav Massholes over there). Anyone else stand out? I do appreciate how well these guys get along, rivalry and such aside. It's nice that they have such solid friendships. Sidenote, you might appreciate this, but I am absolutely too invested in a crackship pairing I came up with featuring James Hagens and a BU player I have no evidence he's ever interacted with, but there is a great shot of the player staring James down at the Beanpot and their size difference is insane! So I appreciate the Hagens-specific BU lore especially, since I know he has ties to a few of them and he's such a personality void that any evidence of him being a person is fun! Lol. Thank you so much again, I always love hearing from you <3

bu alum anon back to say happy monday and i hope you’re doing well! 1) cole eiserman’s sunglasses sent me. boy it’s the middle of the winter. 2) BU swept BC for the first time in six years and it’s so hilarious that it was this team to do so 3) i was at the game friday and it was the biggest delight to see all the BU BC connections have a bit of a laugh during every faceoff. why was cole hutson making his life goal to bully jimmy himmy james hagens at all moments. incredible

But that's absolutely amazing for you!!! I am sooo interested in this info about Cole and James??? How so??? Because like, I know they go back to the NTDP and WJs, but I don't even think about the two of them ever interacting (I know Hagens is closer with Eiserman) so like...why??? How was he doing it??? Not to be a bitch, but I don't like Emma and never did. I think she has bad intentions and only went to the beanpot and other games and made a big deal of talking to Trevor to get attention and make it seem like something more was going on. He never wanted a relationship because he saw bu as a one and done thing, she wanted more from him and he left. Sometime in April she made a video saying she hates guys who wanna stay in the "talking" phase. -bu anon

people have said she just wants the wag status and obviously our boy tz is gonna be a big name in the years to come. trev probably knew he was gonna sign with anaheim after one year at bu because hellooooo kid has hella skills. i just feel bad for the guys that get used:/
