See, now THIS i can go off of! Going with the main bugs I usually draw because they're my favorites <3 Tiso: Almost as much of a garbage disposal as Ardent, but does have his favorites. He loves savory foods, mostly roasted meats and some fatty fruits and seeds, but he would absolutely KILL for some honey tarts made by denizens of the Hive. He can make them himself, sure, but they're only the perfect balance of sweet, spongy, and savory if a bee makes it. Ardent: The true garbage disposal. They will eat anything. Yes, anything. They show favorites to just about anything sweet (including, apparently, the crystals covering the southern mountain peaks) and have a strong preference to Boofly steaks. That's... assuming Hornet can get to the damn thing before they eat it all, first. Hornet: By far the pickiest eater, she REFUSES to eat anything even vaguely plant-like (and in fairness, she usually gets sick if she eats just plants) and will also turn her nose up to most parts of an animal. She particularly enjoys the leg muscles, wing muscles, heart, some parts of the liver, and the ovaries and whatever undeveloped eggs are there when sectioning her meats out, and leave the rest to Tiso and Ardent. She regularly gets honey tarts from the Hive, and refuses to share them, as well as jars of honey. Really, if it comes from the Hive, she loves it. Is it because she grew up there for a few years? ....Maybe.

Where's The Beef?

Aloha kākou and Happy Aloha Friday. I always enjoy a good steak. Preferably a ribeye steak. Cooked medium rare on a charcoal grill using wood chips for that smoked flavoring. Just season the beef with salt and pepper on both sides of the slice of cow and place it on a smoken’ hot grill. I love the food ideas you made for Hollow Knight! Do you think you'll ever create more?

I've been thinking about making more for some time and even drawing remakes of several now that I've learned more about Artisan Gastronomy and the alternative ways in which certain ingredients were obtained. Some focused on Hallownest and others on locations in other kingdoms that I have been thinking about for a long time.

I guess at some point I'll come back with the promised Hallownest's Pancakes recipe.

The crocus are in full bloom, hanging out with the lavender plants for a nice contrast. Our neighbor's honeybees must not have made it through our weird winter this year though as there were none in sight. Our mason bees have started to hatch so maybe some of them will show up.
