These adorable caterpillar and butterfly-themed cupcakes are perfect for a cute bugs birthday party. They are not only delicious but also visually appealing, making them a hit with both kids and adults.

Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/4 cup milk. 1 egg. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. Green food coloring. Decorative cupcake liners. Butterfly and bug-themed cake toppers optional.

Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Line a cupcake tray with decorative cupcake liners. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, until the batter is smooth. Add a few drops of green food coloring to achieve the desired caterpillar color. Mix until evenly tinted. Spoon the cupcake batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack. Once cooled, you can decorate the cupcakes with butterfly and bug-themed cake toppers if desired. Serve and enjoy your Cute Bugs Caterpillar Butterfly Cupcakes at the birthday party!
