If you've been following development here on Tumblr, thank you. Seeing the excitement around the project has been incredibly motivating, and I'm looking forward to finally getting the game into everyone's hands.
While pre-orders are now open, development is very much still ongoing.

The screenshots currently visible on the App Store were captured from the June 23rd, 2026 (23.06.26) development build. Since then, the game has continued to evolve, and it will continue to do so until release.
That means things such as:
may all change before launch. Think of the App Store screenshots as a snapshot of development rather than the final product.
The core gameplay remains the same: build a technology company from the early days of personal computing, research new technologies, create software and hardware, compete against rival corporations, build factories, survive industry events, and (hopefully) avoid bankruptcy.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much will the game cost?
The launch price will be 7,99 $ (USD)
Big Tech Tycoon is a premium game.
Free content patches and bugfixes
Buy it once and enjoy the complete experience.
What platforms will it be available on?
At launch, Big Tech Tycoon will be available on:
One purchase gives you access across Apple's supported platforms through the App Store.
The game is written entirely in Swift and SwiftUI which is mostly exclusive to Apple platforms.
Will there be an Android version?
An Android port is something I'd genuinely like to make, but there are two practical challenges.
The first is funding. Porting and maintaining another platform takes time, and I'd like to see the Apple release succeed before committing to that investment.
The second is hardware. At the moment I don't own a modern Android phone or tablet that would allow me to properly develop, optimize, and test the game.
If Big Tech Tycoon performs well enough to justify expanding onto another platform, an Android version is absolutely something I'll be exploring.
What languages are supported?
At launch, the game is available in English only.
Additional languages are something I'd love to support in the future, however I would want them to be proper localizations with unique jokes to every language.
The release date is August 1st.
I'm currently putting the finishing touches on the game, polishing systems, balancing mechanics, and preparing everything for launch.
^ showcase of multichoice random event that affects gameplay (duh)
Thank you again to everyone who's followed development so far.
Seeing people excited about a niche technology company simulator has honestly been surreal.
There's still plenty more to show before release, so expect more screenshots, development updates, feature showcases, and behind-the-scenes posts over the coming weeks.
The future of computing is under new management.
Unfortunately, that management is you.
