I am so very aware that the Minecraft Movie isn’t canon in the slightest and is literally outright stated to be an AU and whatnot,

but my lore rotted brain would like to think about the fact that the Endermen and Illagers are (kind of) working together.

Like it’s kind of cute all things considered.

If we work off of the theory that the Ancient Builders are the Endermen, and the Illagers were stashing up their old items from the ruins out of adoration for the ABs (like implied in the game by chest loot and the “camp” in the ancient cities.) it would totally make sense for the Endermen to guard that section of the woodland mansion; as first of all, it would’ve been their own items, and second of all because they’re on really good terms with the Illagers, if they are actually the ABs.

I guess you gotta be in a very specific niche of the MC fandom to appreciate this little movie tidbit as much as I do, but I can’t be the only one.

I need a semi-wholesome ending to my tragic doomed ancient Minecraft yaoi please.

lion dance was once banned where I came from for 'disturbing racial harmony'. after the prime minister of the time was greeted by lion dances in China, he changed his mind about the ban, and now Acrobatic Lion Dance Competitions are OUR thing. Getting the standardized jong setups for world competition? WE did that. Crazy fucking backbreaking stunts that now EVERYONE does? WE did that. There's a bunch of riffs, like Taiwan does Acrobatic Lion Dancing but over WATER. A WHOLE POOL. they put a plat form in the middle that the lion dancers start and end on and the poles are over water!! the fuck!!

And now if you're into Lion Dancing, you'll know there's Malaysia style heads, right?
