👫 bxmboozled cuz im Lazy
send 👫 and I’ll write some headcanons I have about our muse’s relationship
she vaguely knows about talia through talia’s tenure with lexcorp and stuff bruce or damian have said about her in passing; one time she asked jason about her to get a clearer picture and they ended up both deciding that talia should run for president because talia would get shit done
jason got her a leather jacket and she Treasures It even though it still kind of smells like thrift store and cigarettes and something that’s probably some kind of explosive
he’s very??? handsy?? i guess??? idk like i always imagined him being really carefree with putting his arm around her shoulders and stuff like that because he is Gigantic and she is Tiny and he just... gets how that can be comforting to her
i’ve mentioned it before but i’ll bring it up again: jason is the closest batkid to her in age and he’s also the one who has the most similar background/history/experiences so they get along almost uncannily well compared to other members of the batfam
she adores him, she does, and she loves that he’s huggy and stuff, but sometimes he smells like cigarettes when he tosses an arm around her shoulders and it reminds her of A Certain Someone and she can’t help but flinch
@bxmboozled FLUTTERED THEIR WINGS
Whenever they’re in costume, they give in to dark ideas. Are they proud of it? They don’t really know anymore. They know that they are not a good person, not at heart-- sure, they are KIND to people. Sure, they can show EMPATHY to people. Jack tries their best to find people in need, and they try to help them. Is that enough? Is that enough?
Some people are criminals, and they always will be. Criminals can still be family members. Criminals can still be good to other people. But those people? Not them. Not people necessarily good. That’s not how this works, is it?
Jack hurts people who hurt others.
Jack is cruel. Jack pummels people to the ground, BEATS THEM until they are pulp. Do they think they are good? A force of good? No. Jack knows they are just someone, and that someone simply does what they have designated as right and wrong. Many people think they are wrong. Many people think they are right.
Does it matter?
Morals are a social construct. Jack can only act upon as THEY have decided as WRONG and RIGHT.
“Do you have any dying wishes?” Jack asks, staring down a man bloody and bruised. Sometimes people have a change in heart. Sometimes Jack upholds these wishes-- these wishes are often altruistic, and Jack will honor them. Maybe they are a SUCKER after all?
Suckers are good people. Suckers are people who just try to be good, even if they are to be betrayed.
Jack will be the the guardians of these people. Even if they don't deserve it. Jack simply cannot leave people behind, forgotten, as if their guardians were simply awful; their guardians were PEOPLE THAT LOVED THEM-- Jack knows that, even if they never felt it. It's not something to be taken lightly. It doesn't matter if those people are criminals. They will always matter to someone. Even if they are abusers, drug cartel, rapists-- they are gross, but they mean something to someone, so Jack will always hear them out (it's awful, but they don't know; no one knows how awful people close to them are). These people don't deserve it, but their loved ones DO.

@bxmboozled || “I trust you." because i couldn’t leave it at just one meme response.
It’s quiet, and it gives Tim’s hands pause where they hover over Jason’s shoulder. He’s digging out a bullet, because the asshole couldn’t be responsible and go to a professional, he had to put that responsibility on Tim- and neither of them has really said much since Tim started, at least until Tim pulled the little scrap of metal out and couldn’t resist a this is going to scar, why didn’t you go to someone with training.
He had been ready for a snarky reply, for some sharp banter -- not that.
“...Do you,” he replies, voice a little too quiet, fingertips a little slow as he presses a gauze pad to the wound. Jason doesn’t move, doesn’t turn to acknowledge the change in Tim’s demeanor, but he doesn’t say anything either -- not until Tim has finished stitching up the hole, taped a fresh pad of gauze over the whole thing.
But Jason has broken into his apartment -- his home -- and he asked Tim to do this for him, not out of necessity but -- because he saw Tim as an option. This deserves a response, and Tim can’t just leave it hanging. His hands hover over Jason’s shoulder, but he finally speaks up.
“... I trust you, too,” he says, at length.
