let's take time to realize that the byler fandom is probably one of the most powerful fandom related to a show of this generation like we managed to destroy twitter, tiktok and thmblr and each time in less than 24 hours. We make so much noise that we even got the attention of celebs who have nothing to do with the show and we pressured the writers to post ST-related scripts . the biggest threat for the Duffers : Bylers !!

The other day I was thinking about byler (as one does) and I definitely think mike should be the one to confess. It just makes the most sense because there’s no way will would try to confess or make a move without being 1000% sure mike likes him and it would just cause more pain for him just waiting for rejection, he’s been through it long enough. But I think will should make the first move after. So here’s what I think should happen; Mike starts to confess and he just sorta nervously rambles which gives Will some time to register what’s actually going on but he’s still in a state of shock so he doesn’t say anything for a little bit and mike isn’t entirely sure will likes him back so he’s just like “i’m so sorry, just forget about it” BUT THEN Will *softly* grabs Mike’s shoulder and says “Mike…” and Mike looks up and Will takes his face with both hands aaaaand ✨Byler rain kiss✨ Soo Mike confesses, Will makes the first move. what do you guys think??

i really feel like the stark contrast between mike & el's reunion along with will & el's reunion is so important.

with mike and el, it's a single line and that is that their embrace (not even a kiss, may i add) is warm and inviting. clearly platonic!! they're already set up for being platonic in season 5.

for will and el, it's is so much more emotional. it shows how strong of a bond el and will have (and how weak mike and el's bond is). "They share a common bond that is not of this world." (this is for sure talking about how they are connected through the upside down which is also something mike doesn't understand).

honestly if we see that el and will's relationship is stronger than mike and el's (when will and el have only had that bond for about a year) then it's clear that mike and el are growing apart and i wouldn't be surprised seeing platonic milkvan in s5!
