The detective had taken the some few days off. He needed it and just needed a moment. He was trying and following the advice of his therapist and doctor. Plus, he was also listening to his body too. He was glad that Nolan came over and he did enjoy the other's company. "Here you go," he spoke as he walked toward them, two drinks in his hands as he handed one to the male. Ace, laying on his dog bed. "How is your hand?"

“I’m going to close my eyes and nap for seven minutes but I think if you just shut up and don’t say anything, it’ll make the time go by faster.”

Michelle wanted to crawl in a hole and disappear , but she felt so stupid even feeling that. She was just a dust speck in the crumble of her friends around her. Thankfully the post spared her from saying which lost boy she was crushing on, and aired out everyone else’s problems and for that, she had to keep it under lock and key. It wouldn’t matter, and it didn’t matter. There were bigger problems at hand and she had to keep to that. So for a few days she kept to herself. Let out more tears in her pillow case than she’d like to admit, but who would she cry too? Everyone had something tearing them apart. Michelle agreed, like her heart was shattered,  to go for a walk with Nolan and Koda. Keeping up with their little co-parent thing. Sitting on the bench she chewed on her cheek as she waited for them. Staring at the ground, and losing herself in a pep talk to face him. To be around him, to see him and know everything was all just in her head. It wasn’t till small paws were jumping at her legs that she snapped out of it and pulled herself together. “Koda!” Picking up the puppy she cuddled him close and kissed the top of his head. Soaking in the comfort and love from the little guy. Thankfully they had a puppy to keep their attention, and not have to be around each other without a distraction. Though when she looked up to greet him, her mind went blank. Finding his eyes that once felt like home, and two arms that would catch her.. turned into a great unknown. Feeling her eyes pool with tears she ripped the gaze away to Koda, and the words feel out before she could stop them. “Is it true?” She said softly. || @flyhighnol​

Axel stood in line trying to decide weather he should try the school’s speciality pasta salad or if he should stick with his go to chicken burger, he looked up to the other boy standing near him. “Have you tried the salad? Is it any good?” His voice dry as he pondered the two options carefully.

so calliope hadn’t talked to james in a couple of weeks, she hadn’t planned on having such a busy summer, yet here they were. she figured there was no harm in popping over to his room to surprise him with a day, though she didn’t take the time to see where he was, and just walked over to his room, knocking on the door, but when the door opened, it was not james, but some guy, she believed nolan, “oh hey, hi” she laughs softly, “let me guess, james isn’t here, and i just ruined your nap”

Chapter 1 | Nolan & Chrissy

“Counting on you, Baby Doll. He gets hurt— so do I.” 

The words echoed within her thoughts as a choir’s voice would off the walls of a church. Perhaps it was her groggy state that had prompted the image of chapels and angelic voices. Call her sociopathic, the entire concept of this warped up game had also prompted a smirk. She knew Roman. He liked to play. Good thing she did, too.

The trip to her assigned room wasn’t an easy one for those escorting her; before she had received a bruise on her face that would turn black enough to have blurred the line between consciousness and unconsciousness, she would have been sure to leave something in return. Nolan’s name was more familiar to her than his face was, and she had barely caught a glimpse of it before being shoved and locked into their metal prison. 

Green eyes, one of which above a blossoming deep purple, squinted at the setup after swearing at the shut door. The faerie had committed many questionable deeds in the past, including murder. Not of a child, though. Of course, that didn’t hinder the already forming plan in her mind about how to snatch that gun faster than her apparent partner could. Speaking of which... the brunette finally glanced over at the other from her place on the floor, small palms adjusting her weight as bruised knees drew together against the cold floor. 

“You’re prettier than I imagined you’d be, Baby Boy.” Even half croaked out, there was something sultry that leaked into her tone from behind a slight smirk. Might as well give Daddy a show right back.

They were all friends, it wasn’t weird to ask Nolan to hang out. Still Michelle panicked the minutes leading up to when she was supposed to meet up with him. Did she look okay? Would she say something stupid? Was her plans for the night stupid? It was all so much, but she figured she could learn and thing or two stepping into his world at the arcade tonight. Getting there early she got herself a slurpee and found a nice seat to swing her legs and try to learn something impressive about the place. Wasn’t like it was her first time, but it was Nolan. She didn’t want to seem completely clueless around him. Which that alone was a stupid thought. When he walked in she perked up and waved her hand. “Hey! Want some ... it’s blue raspberryyyy” She sang out with a small laugh as she offered the slurpee. || @nolannibbles​
