“oh my god! that’s so great!” lara gives the other a high-five as they celebrate the fact that they finally got the girl of their dreams. a part of her felt a little torn by the fact her best friend found someone for them and it wasn’t her. she dreamed about ending up together but she was still was happy for them, she needed to be happy for them or else it would break her heart further. they’ve been so miserable from their last relationship that they needed a win and lara to give that support to them. “so who’s the lucky girl?”

“You mean to say it’s like this all the bloody time?” Lara unsheathes her pistols from the holsters on her thighs. As much as she loved her bow, she didn’t think an arrow was going to do this creature any harm. She crouches behind an overturned car and pops her head up to shoot at the... well, monster was the best way to describe it. 

Lara supposed she could understand now why Jason was so unphased by anything he’d seen in the tomb they’d uncovered together if this was his daily life in the ever famous Gotham City.

“This isn’t funny.” Lara says, her hand resting on the gun strapped to her thigh. “I don’t know what kind of game you think you’re playing, but I suggest you stop it right now.”

"I really don't understand why you brought me  out here?" Lara ran her hand through her wavy hair, a soft chuckle escaping her lips. "David is waiting for me at home - you know, I better leave soon." Her boyfriend wasn't the nicest guy and Lara knew he wouldn't be happy with the situation - he wouldn't be happy at all.
