“No.... but clever response, I should use that. Even though, if I was summoning satan, it would not be you. I know another royal that has far more satanic, asshole qualities than you can. Being sassy does not qualify you to be satan, sorry.”
Kalina looked at her before taking a sip of her drink, rolling her eyes. “Teasing, thought you of all people would get that.” She grumbled. She couldn’t bring herself to say she was acting bitchy because of Miguel. She wouldn’t give her the power to say she was right. “You want to talk to me about being with my ex fiancé, my favorite ex fiancé? The one where I had you as my maid of honor even though you were…I mean are in love with.” She sat her drink down, calling out for a butler. “Hello, you there, get me two shots…three, one for yourself. We must drink to this girl right here, talk about HONOR! She loved him so much, she was going to let him marry me, just because it was what he thought was going to make him happy. She stood by his side before I even came in the picture. She wasn’t even a bitch to me…until I broke his heart.” Kali laughed darkly. She turned to look at Zoe. “I hope you weren’t planning to ask me if its okay for you to date my ex since you are my best friend. You don’t owe that to me. Not after the sacrifice you made for he and I.”
As Kalina grumbled, Zoe shrugged it off gently. “Sorry, just got a lot more things on my mind to catch onto your specific teasing today.” Zoe mumbled to her, giving the other a small smile. Before she started talking about her concerns, Kalina started before her. Zoe bit her lip as her best friend gave her such praise despite her now dating her ex-fiance. Though, that wasn’t what she came here for originally. Kalina was one of the only people -- other than Yalena -- that Zoe slipped out that she loved Dimitri and Kalina was on board of getting them together. For that, Zoe was grateful towards Kalina. She smiled weakly at the butler as he gave her a look when he walked out before looking back at Kalina.
Zoe tugged at her blonde hair as Kalina turned her attention back on her. “N-no. That’s not why I came, Kalina. Though, I’m happy for your blessing, really I am. But-- is it all in good faith? You know, with him being-- Heir of Russia and Me, just being... Me? Does love trump reason all together? You praise me and say that I gave up so much when you two were together, and I did all of those things. Because I did believe that it would make both of you happy. But-- I also did it because I was afraid because I knew that you were better for him than I could ever be. You’re literally a Queen, even without your title, while I’m just trying to pretend that I’m not a girl who just cleans others rooms all day.” She laughed a bit before looking back at Kalina. She shook her head quickly. “Sorry, I did it again. Word vomit, all over the place.” She laughed once again before getting up and grabbing her and Kalina’s shot from the butler’s tray. “Ready for some shots?”

Zoe wrapped her arms eagerly around Dimitri’s shoulders once the shirt was off. Her lips wouldn’t leave his and she almost whined when he pulled away, but was soon smiling again once she felt his kisses on her skin. They felt airy, they felt nice on her skin. She barely had time to register when he pulled away and she was suddenly off her feet. She let out a small airy giggle when he did so and her smile couldn’t be faltered at this point. Her hand rested on his cheek as he continued to give her his kisses, while her other hand skimmed his bare, strong arms that were carrying her.
Once he set her down on the bed, her hands went to his cheeks as she kissed him back. When Dimitri started hovering over her, she let out a content sigh as she felt his hand on her thigh, her leg wrapping around his in response. Pulling him with her, she wiggled more onto the bed so he wasn’t hanging off the end. Then she placed her hand on his bare chest, gently pushing him to roll them over so he was on lying on his back with her on top. She looked down at him and smiled gently, lovingly, before dipping down and claiming his lips once more.
As she felt Dimitri’s hands run up her arms, goosebumps started to rise on her skin, her nerves sensitive to his gentle touch. But as he tugged down the straps of her dress, her heartbeat quicken. Maybe out a nerves? Or excitement, she didn’t know. But she did know as his lips moved away from hers and paid extra attention to the rest of her body, she knew it felt great-- amazingly. She let a shaky breath as his lips left a burning trail on her skin, her fingers now digging into his sides. “I love you,” She whispered out to him, her nose nuzzling behind his ear.
Zoe inhaled, his smell intoxicating all her right senses, and this time, she invited it in. Her hands slid up his chest, her fingers pressing into his hard muscles, before she stopped at his shoulders. She pushed off his shirt, revealing his strong arms and her fingers eagerly rubbed against his biceps. Shivering gently as his warm lips touched her collarbone, she returned the favor with a gentle kiss on his temple. She pressed kisses against his head as her hands eagerly try to remove the rest of his shirt off of him, finally succeeding as she took the fabric and threw it off somewhere.
Dimitri had thought his heart was beating fast before, but now-listening to Zoe, her breathless, beautiful voice saying these incredible, inviting things-he didn’t know how he was still standing. His heart was beating so fast and so hard in his chest, he could feel his mind going hazy and he was struggling for breath-he was surprised he hadn’t passed out yet. But he didn’t want to move. He wouldn’t move, except in closer to Zoe.
Dimitri’s lips were hard on hers as soon as she met his, and he was beaming-grinning from ear to ear-as he kissed her passionately. His hands held on firmly to her, sliding softly up her back, then back down-stopping at her hips and holding her firmly as he pulled her hips against his. He exhaled deeply and moved his chest up into Zoe’s hand, allowing her warm touch to invigorate him further. “You… have… me,” he whispered breathlessly between deep kisses, nuzzling his nose against her face. He took in her scent-inhaling deeply-and his body voiced his willingness. His body moved carefully, gently with and into hers, creating friction-that pushed him back but then pulled him back in like gravity. Dimitri would be lying if he said he wasn’t a bit nervous-scared even-but he was also excited. He wanted to be with Zoe, and he wanted her to be beyond happy. He wanted this.
When he whispered those words, so breathlessly, so hot against her lips, Zoe didn’t waste any time, but she didn’t hurry. She felt infinite with him being so close to her, their bodies moving together in such synchronization, their breathes intertwining. Her fingers traced down his shirt, unbuttoning each of the buttons slowly but surely, her lips never leaving his. As soon as the last button popped off, her hands found his bare abdomen and her fingers pressed gently against his sculpted abs.
Zoe could feel her heart leap out of her chest, her mind all of sudden hazy with thoughts about Dimitri. How many times did she dream of touching him like this? Every time she stole a glance of him shirtless and her face was in a deep scarlet. But now, she was touching him, touching his hot skin as her hands eagerly explored every part of his chest that she could. She circled her hand to his back, her hands gliding down the warm skin there to his lower back. Her fingers looped around his belt loop and yanked, thrusting his hips into hers causing even more friction between them.
