the last thing she wanted to do was scare vaggie with being normal around her, she didn't want to ruin any chance of just checking in on her girlfriend with everything going on.. but she missed her enough that being this close was just as hard as being apart. if not harder.. "you look really pretty." that would be enough to know where vaggie was at, if maybe she mentioned being here with someone else..

"thanks dad," charlie kept her hands on his shoulders, letting him lead them around the floor. she hadn't gotten out onto the floor as much as she probably would have if circumstances were a little different, but it was nice to just have a moment with her dad during all this. "i think you're way better at this than i am."
"you're here on a date, right niffty?" charlie smiled over at her friend, just happy to see her being able to be out and about, enjoying the party in her own way. she wasn't there last time all her friends went out to something like this, so it was just nice to see them enjoying it. "please tell me you're being nice."

"i wish razzle and dazzle could be here with us.." charlie settled into the lounge in her room, looking out the window at another dragon that passed by. "i mean, they could almost be mistaken as a dragon here.. maybe someone raises dragons around here.. there's so many, i'm sure someone does."

"goooooood morning!" charlie grinned at kaz as she joined him in their pavilion for the santa experience, her elf hat jingling as she got settled. "did you want coffee? i brought you a coffee but i didn't know how you liked it so i also brought creamer and some sugar! it's in my bag! or if you don't like coffee i'm sure once we get a break i can go find something else!"

"are you alright?" charlie's hand cupped angel's elbow as she found her friend, a troubled look on his face only mirroring on hers as she studied him. "come on, we can talk in private." she knew this whole place was listening, she'd never met such gossips before meeting all the royals here. it was like their only hobby was listening to other people's business. and the last thing charlie wanted was whatever was troubling angel to be help over his head.
