idk if you did this yet but historical tjeffs was an educated europe guy and ate a tomato like an apple once and everyone at the dinner party freaked out because they thought tomatoes were POISON (hot/cooked tomatoes were often served on lead plates, the acid and heat of the tomatoes breaking down the plates leading to lead poisoning.) anyway i tried to make that as concise as i could but i think it'd be funny if at a cabinet battle or something jefferson just whipped out a tomato and debates forgotten everyone starts freaking out
