I got through Liz and Caecillius. Liz is a really soft-hearted girl who was forced into the fiend lifestyle(and later escaped it with Lionesse’s help). She became leader of a group, lost her power after pissing off motor-runner and was tossed in ‘jail’ to be used in fights. After escaping with Lionesse, she lives with her for about a year or two before they break up and she moves to Michelangelo's studio to continue her love of art. Liz and Lionesse eventually get back together, but she still spends a lot of time in the studio.
Caecillius, translating roughly to ‘blind’, is a young legionary. He got his name because he wasn’t a particularly perceptive or try-hard legionary. He was good enough to not be killed during training, and was given his first task to track Lionesse. He really sucks at his job and doesn’t want to be a legionary, so Lionesse is more than happy to help him out of the legion. Hes also prone to sun burns. Generally a pretty alright guy, having been born into the Legion.
god damn the cambridge latin course i thought i had forgotten you
50 Days of Doctor Who 50th. - Day 4
My favourite episode? It's got to be the FIRES OF POMPEII!!! A couple of years ago, we did a trip to Pompeii, and our teacher managed to get us into the real Caecilius's house. These are some pictures above. It is a wonderful thought to think I've been in actual timelord's house!!!
Moffat hints that Peter Capaldi's past appearances could be a plot point.
Russell T Davies wanted the resemblance between Frobisher and Caecillius to be an actual plot point, and now that Capaldi's the Twelfth, they're going to be using it.
I guess this will retroactively explain why the Sixth Doctor looks like Maxil, too.
Not possible to not cry. You win, Moffat.
Latin student problems include working on a project for Latin Class and looking up to see freaken Caecillius and his family on Doctor Who and how the project is on how they died. Wow thanks universe. Why do you just let me wallow in my feels.
