Trailblazer has full body chronic pain from the Stellaron (as did Cocolia in specifically her head from the influence) so when one day they’re injured enough to pass out and is healed using futuristic tech (or the more realistic route that they’re given pain medication) they freak out once awake because everything feels very different in an almost too good way (maybe they feel too light, floaty, like dissociation, since they aren’t used to that lack of constant grounding) so they struggle to understand they aren’t like in a bad situation; WHICH means we can have others realize they have chronic pain (including them btw they didnt know they were in pain constantly cuz they legit Woke Up Like That) and like ya know everyone together having to figure out how they feel about it and what can be done to help, if anything

Caelus immediately being sent to take a bath every time they get their accommodations or getting back into the Astral Express coz of his trashcan digging tendencies.

For whatever reason, he can't remember how to take a proper bath, and no, Caelus getting wet isn't enough. Dan Heng doesn't quite understand how, but he ends up employing the help of Mr. Yang.

March 7th won't step any closer into the room, not due to Caelus being male, (although part of it is) but mainly for the smell Caelus has been sporting from his recent dive. (They had looked away for one second—one fucking second—and Caelus had shot off, unable to stop the siren call of the glimmering trashcan).

Caelus wasn't even averse to baths once he's learned how. In fact, he enjoys soaking in the tub, just closing his eyes and floating there.

Unfortunately, he has a habit of drifting off there too. Submerged beneath the water, the sounds muffled, the warmth seeping into his skin, it reminded him too much of his closet. Pom-pom had been adamant to time Caelus for his baths, even getting the others to check up on him if Pom-pom wasn't too busy. (The conductor always finds time though. Too worried for their new addition. Too fond of the boy when he always gets out of his way to help Pom-pom.)

I keep thinking about Caelus sleeping in a closet wrapped up in Mr. Yang's scarf. I dunno but this sneaky raccoon would get his hands on one and hide it in his dark little corner.

So I've been playing Star Rail for the past week and here's just some thoughts and hcs that I have. Also, I chose the male Trailblazer for the game. So this is gonna be Caelus fueled.:

Caelus gives Pom-pom a hug every time he comes back to the Astral Express

For some reason, the others would find Caelus sleeping in the closet rather than his own bed (yes, this is coz of the Goethe Hotel dialogue)

Caelus is always up for games with the kids, and when they ask for help, they take a priority.

He gravitates towards Dan Heng more than March 7th. But he enjoys looking at March 7th pictures and helping her get the best shot

Caelus gets really shy around Himeko, but likes to sit with her for tea when he has the chance.

Caelus joins Pom-pom for his bed time stories with Mr. Yang. He drifts off faster than Pom-pom and falls asleep hugging him.

Caelus always makes sure to have a trinket for Pom-pom. He takes pictures to show them to him and they may not be as good as March 7th's but Pom-pom doesn't seem to mind.

Caelus always looks to Dan Heng for guidance, and he makes full use of Dan Heng's offer to ask him questions if he has them.

Caelus brings Dan Heng books. (I think this is canon already???) The more strange it is, the better. He eventually catalogs what subjects Dan Heng likes, and what makes him smile.

At one point, Dan Heng and Caelus' lips do brush against each other and it wasn't a CPR.
