Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup diced bell peppers. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning. 1 tsp hot sauce. 4 burger buns. Lettuce and tomato slices for garnish. 4 slices of pepper jack cheese. Mayonnaise and ketchup for condiments.
Instructions: Put ground beef, diced onions, diced bell peppers, minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, and hot sauce in a bowl. Combine well. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Cover the grill and put a slice of pepper jack cheese on top of each patty in the last minute of cooking. This will melt the cheese. Grill the burger buns until they are just barely golden while the burgers are cooking. Put lettuce and tomato slices on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers. Place the cheese-topped burger patties on top that have been cooked. Spread ketchup and mayonnaise on the top half of the buns, then put them on top of the burgers that have been put together.
