Middle School Monday: Camp Midnight by Steven T. Seagle & Jason Adam Katzenstein

Skye thinks that spending the summer with her father and stepmother is going to be terrible -- her dad is fine, but her “step-monster” is THE WORST. Then Skye realizes that she won’t get to spend any time with her dad at all because she’s being sent away to summer camp. Her family is so eager to get rid of her that she’s put on the wrong bus, and soon Skye finds herself at Camp Midnight, which is basically a camp for all different kinds of monsters. 

What follows is a funny, crazy, weird, alarming, madcap, hilarious, and bizarre story that will gross out readers but also make them laugh.
