Finally getting a chance to wear this @chaserbrand dress without a t-shirt underneath. I finally found a strapless bra that fit so I can show off my shoulders more... when I’m not covering them with this @prosperitydenim jacket, that is... . . . The jacket came from my LAST @stitchfix. In the past few months, #stitchfix has gone COMPLETELY INSANE. They’ve LAID OFF ALL OF THEIR CALIFORNIA WORKERS TO HIRE CHEAPER LABOR IN OTHER AREAS. A fair amount of those workers were WOMEN OF COLOR. This is ECONOMIC DISCRIMINATION. . . . Shortly after, Stitch Fix donated to #blacklivesmatter causes in an attempt to break even. How much money did they save by LAYING OFF BLACK WORKERS, then donating a little bit to popular movements? This is FALSE SUPPORT. . . . Stitch Fix also is forcing workers in their warehouses to WORK IN NON-COVID-COMPLIANT CONDITIONS. They have had POSITIVE COVID WORKERS continue to work, & are VIOLATING CDC REGULATIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS in at least BETHLEHEM, PA & DALLAS, TX. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE CDC; YOU SHOULD TOO. . . . My two VERY LAST @stitchfix pieces go really well with that #croppedsweater I picked up from @beyondyoga a few months ago, so back out the closet it comes!! . . . I no longer support @stitchfix because THEY DECIDED THEIR CALIFORNIA STYLISTS WERE TOO PRICEY & ARE IN THE PROCESS OF LAYING THEM OFF. They are HIRING WORKERS TO REPLACE THEM IN CHEAPER AREAS. This is ECONOMIC DISCRIMINATION. . . . In the wake of #blacklivesmatter, Stitch Fix laid off WOMEN OF COLOR, then turned around and donated to relevant causes, like they could break even. I’ve had this dress for a few years now; it was the right length for #DisneyLook, but I always had to keep a blazer on to cover my shoulder (& give me pockets to carry all my crap 🙄). Adding this @prosperitydenim #jacket gives this dress a whole new look! . . Both of these pieces came to me via Stitch Fix. While the clothing brands themselves are socially acceptable (as far as I know); I can no longer support Stitch Fix as a company. @stitchfix made a decision to LAY-OFF most of its California workers. California by design was Stitch Fix’s most diverse sector; most of the employees laid off are women, and many are people of color. Stitch Fix then proceeded to donate money to various #blacklivesmatters organizations, and brag about it on their social media platforms. This is FALSE SUPPORT; you cannot lay-off black workers, then donate to a cause & “break even.” Furthermore, Stitch Fix didn’t want to pay California’s “high” living wage, so they’re hiring people in “cheaper” areas to replace the work force they just laid off.
