20. Random fact: My eyes change according to the weather. They are either light brown or dark green. Most of the time a dark shade of hazel, with more brown than green haha (thanks for your genes mom...)

so i was thinking about sailor’s superstitions and which might apply to fjord and here are a few i think he’d believe 

fjord’s number one rule: do not sing sea shanties on dry land 

cats bring good luck. fjord is allergic to cats so you’d think he’d ask caleb to make frumpkin a bird or something permanently, and yet he supports caleb’s quest to bring frumpkin back to cat form

mermaids/men: “sea-dwelling mermen ‘were known to grant a wish, transform mediocrity into genius and confer wealth and power.’” thinking emoji. seems very warlock-y to me.

a gold earring could mean that the sailor traveled the world or crossed the equator. (fjord with one pierced ear is incredibly good these are facts)

tattoos were seen as lucky. maybe he has the wildemount version of the nautical star or a land dwelling animal (sailors believed if god saw them drowning he’d see the animal that can’t swim and then save him. imagine fjord w like a pig or chicken tattoo)

iirc, while beau, jester, and nott were talking in the tavern in the first episode, caleb and fjord were pretty quiet unless talking to their own group. however, when they finally interacted w/each other, fjord talked to caleb first so this might be a possible superstition of his: red heads were thought to bring bad luck to a ship if you happened to meet before boarding. however, if you speak to the redhead before they get the chance to speak to you, you're saved.
