To say she was nervous was an understatement. Thankfully she was able to channel that nervous, wound-up energy into decorating, preparing.
She had to pull a fair few strings to get the beach cave secluded enough to decorate, but once the cavern was empty, she got to work. Strings of beads hanging from the entrance, with a clay adhesive so not to disrupt the natural landscape of it all. Her subspace had been put to work by storing large, sewn together tarps and blankets to make a nice place to lay, and she made sure that a single speck of sand wouldn't be ruining their night. This, of course, meant locating some thin yet sturdy pieces of slate as a walk-way towards the entrance of the cave, so her date wouldn't even have to step a pede into the coarse ground.
… She knew he wasn't fragile, yes, but she just wanted to avoid any potential 'icks' about the date, as best as she could.
A pale colored sheet was mounted on far-side wall of the cave, just nearby where it opened and let in the low-tide, to add some ambience to it all. On the opposite side of that wall was a projector, hooked up to a VHS player and some accompanying speakers and generator, which hummed quietly.
Sat amongst the blankets and pillows (which consisted of purples, pinks, reds, and golds- which were picked to match a specific shade that she had clearly researched) were some containers of various energon and gemstone treats. Rust sticks, flavored truffles, and other movie-viewing snacks. They were truthfully the only things that weren't over-the-top decorated, just seeming to be up-scaled Tupperware. A bottle of… something was placed amidst them, sealed with a lid and a bow. Perhaps a gift, or maybe a peace offering? Only time would tell.
Starburst was presently trying to ensure everything looked perfect- pillows fluffed, blankets especially soft. She dusted any sand out of the way with her tail as she stepped onto the slabs of slate carefully to scatter down some petals- shades of red and purple respectively. If they got pulled by the breeze, they would be biodegradable, or a potential snack for the wild-life, at the very least.
She checked her time- sighing in relief. It wasn't quite 2:00 AM yet- she still had some time to ensure some of the finishing touches were completed. Good thing she gave a specific time for him to arrive, it would certainly throw her off guard if he were to be early.
