how. HOW. did I not post this when I made it back in '22? anyway here's an ancient slightly-out-of-character OC comic.
I was having a rough time mentally last night, so spent over 10 hours making another OC plushie: Fregum! (my mental health is now very improved)
process pics under the cut!
More fighting game animations because my comics are still wips!
In random news, I had the big idea to make a paper doll of a Nescient character. It started as a digital sketch, which got printed faintly onto paper, then inked and painted over, then scanned back into my computer where it got shrunk down and printed again, then cut out and folded and boy did I learn a lot in every department! (And yes there were reasons behind the ridiculous number of steps it took. I also had a lot of fun doing the whole project so double win!)
Ink + watercolor practice!
Now that I've reached a reasonable speed, I bought some nicer watercolor paper (100 sheets to be exact) with intentions of going through the entire thing within a few months. (I mean I've got six years of comics to practice with so it isn't like I have a shortage of stuff to ink/color haha!)
I'm determined to get good enough to start Refuge by fall - if anyone has experience/advice with either ink or watercolor I'm all ears!
(No worries for the usual crowd - I've still got Nimona (et al) comics planned ;) )
Bruhhhhh... I can't believe I never posted this Refuge thing I worked on like crazy for a solid month two years ago. (It's technically only halfway done - the whole meme was fully storyboarded, but that's as far as the artwork got.) It's too bad the whole project got shelved since I can only work on so many projects at a time
