Every time Jack gets a promotion I cheer and applaud and clap and whoop and yell and kick my feet with joy.
I am begging you all to please read this truly exceptional debut novel by Katie Daysh called Leeward.
If you like Age of Sail stories/queer characters/beautifully written queer stories/adventure/found family/intriguing storylines/beautifully written prose/female authors etc etc etc, then this is the book for you.
Please please please read it. I’ve just binged it unlike any book I’ve read in years.
It is so so beautiful.
You will love it. Promise.
