I drew a lot more this year than I realized, tbh. The only month where I had only one drawing I could put was August, which is why you get a very unfinished very bad portrait of a pathfinder npc who's design has changed ten million times
July was also tough just because it was mostly Artfight and while I'm proud of a lot of my drawings for Artfight I am shaky on artist etiquette so . have the one drawing I did of my own OC instead
I stuck to my character drawing mostly. There's a few landscapes and animal pieces I'm really proud of that I drew for friends and family's birthdays but this year I wanted to remind myself that my character drawing skills are...well, improving or not, are at least not totally nonexistent hahaha
anyway! huzzah! And that last pic I technically finished at like, 12:15 AM new year's day but I WAS BASICALLY DONE

Laura Innes as Tricia Harper in NBC's "Awake" <3
in-what-way's posts about Laura and her glasses inspired me to make and share this. Gotta love the glasses, hair, and smile. <3
Am I crazy for feeling sympathy for Captain Harper right before she thought Michael was going to shoot her??? Maybe it's just my appreciation for the actress Laura Innes, but I really felt sorry for Harper in that brief moment.
Questions about "Awake"
In the last scene in Dr. Evan’s office, Michael talks about dreaming within a dream. Was he referring to dreaming up what happened after his prison breakdown? Would that also imply that the red-world was a dream? Or was it not a dream, but rather part of a psychotic break? I just want one of the worlds to be real, or else the whole series seems pointless. And on an unrelated note – I may have missed something, but do we know how Harper even became part of this whole conspiracy? It seems like it started as a Hawkins/Kessel thing. Did Kessel let her know what he was doing before Michael’s investigation? She could have kept quiet because she was in a relationship with Kessel and/or because she received part of the profit. Or did she not find out about it until Michael started investigating? Kessel could have informed her of what he (Carl) had been doing and how Michael was onto him, and then she could have covered for Kessel for the same reasons as above. Or am I way off? Is there any speculation on that?
