I've had more thoughts about rookie!Shane/Captain!Ilya unethical billeting situationship. Svetlana. Ilya hasn't hooked up with Svetlana in years because she's in a committed relationship with the captain of Boston's pwhl team. But, they're still besties, so they hang out regularly and have fancy nights out regularly and she always shows up to Ilya's games in his jersey whenever she can.
