The mutant´s breathing was raspy and shallow and it was like he couldn’t quite get enough air. His eyes wouldn’t quite focus either, but he tried. And when he finally seemed to recognize Haddock, his face broke into a blissful smile before he frowned inconfusion, and his eyes seemed to loose focus again.

Tintin looked up from his newspaper and looked over at the captain.”Do we have any plans for today?”

Better for one to die, rather than two, isn’t it?  ... Cut the rope, Tintin!”

It was Rogue that saw the man first. Her nose to the ground, she pulled the lead with so much persistence she nearly released from her master’s grasp if not just about sent the woman flying forward. But Maggie could read something was wrong as Rogue never chased other animals. She thought the man was dead had the man’s outline not slightly moved in each breath he took.

And she kneels before him, grabbing for his arm only to have him shook, his eyes wide and body tensed as if expecting her to finish the job. “It’s alright, I'm not here to hurt you. Actually I’m about to go round and call you an ambulance. Will you be alright here, or do you need me to help you up?”

Closed Starter

The rain was cold and it soaked through the thin shawl wrapped around the child-sized fairy’s shoulders, hiding her wings. The cold rain was a sure sign that fall was just around the corner. She hated fall. It was her opposite. It left her tired and drained.

She found a bunch of roots to rest on and sat there. She merely meant to rest and get her bearings underneath the tree, but she curled up and fell right asleep.
