[Hello! This is the mod here! So I got bored and I've been thinking about making a blog for James for a few days now, so here it is. I've never done this before so bare with me bc I'ma learn as I go]

[This is purely for fun and for anyone that's been curious on what it would be like to talk to my Captainsona/DAsona, James]

now im imagining simon playing the scary guard dog role for engie and captain 😭😭 also if you think about it, this trio is probably the most frightening display of the indomitable human spirit because the three of them just. never give up. they have unhinged levels of determination. theyre literally the only ones that can match each others freak HAHAHAHAHAHSHAHAH

-they definitely match each other's freak oml, all of them don't know when to quit and never give up. I imagine if one of them was mad at the other, even for something stupid, they would totally try to have some way to settle the argument but it lasts forever because neither want to give up so they just keep going until it's settled by the third party

- And and I had this thought the other night because of a post I saw, something about Simon being a veteran like German shepherd and Engie a golden retriever, to add to that: I hc that Simon is like a guard dog kinda of person and doesn't want anyone to hurt like he did despite his anger; Engie is 100% like that sunshine but still traumatized person, he likes to believe there's a positive side to things because when things keep going wrong you hope for the best, hes the one that's tries to cheer up the others with his shenanigans and positive "we got this guys!" attitude.

- In my own captvictneer with my captainsona, I like to think of him as the cat of the group. Hes not very close with anyone else because of trust issues with other egos and just experience but he trusts Engie and Simon after a while and it's sorta like when cats have their favorite person and are affectionate and soft around them but can be weary around others at first. And he reminds me of my cat sooo yeah lol

simon seeing captaineer and being like lol thats fucked up and then getting integrated into the polycule and huzzah he too is fucked up and weird about touch and codependent and guilty and

i wonder if he'll get struck by the captaineer curse of making each other worse before making each other better 💀 i know he's sick of these idiots

-oh definitely, but honestly I like to think Simon doesn't fall into the curse unlike captaineer, rather he has to deal with the two of them being as harmful as they are to each other while still trying to fix each other and he's just like "guys, what the actual fuck??"

-I hc that Simon is the reasonable one of the three so when he see them being well... Them, he's already done with it plus unlike the captain and Engie harming each other and then trying to redeem themselves after, he wouldn't. Sure he'll have a moment of guilt but if he hurt someone for a reason that was justified he's not going to take it back, especially with what he went through on the SM-13. At most he'll apologize and admit he was in the wrong if it wasn't reasonable and he was lashing out, maybe try to comfort but otherwise he's sticking to his guns because he was pretty much forced to trust and rely on himself alone. This is also why I imagine it takes Simon a while to ease up with Engie and captain, because he has those trust issues and he'll lash out at first before he realizes that they aren't trying to hurt him. Just each other apparently lmao

-Simon also just doesn't understand the weird intimate and awkward tense between Engie and captain, so he doesn't really know what to make of it so most of the time he'll just let it happen and let them figure it out. It's like free entertainment for Simon pretty much, just watching his idiots fight and make up all the time. Like that one meme "ALL MY STUDENTS ARE MORONS" but it's with them 😭

capvictneer but its simon and his abysmal relationships with authority figures so once he first meets the captain, hes automatically wary of them and engie's clear affection towards them. something something about simon eventually trusting the captain enough not to use that power against him and becoming something like a right hand towards them because they clearly have no sense of self preservation lmaoo.

-I feel like Simon soon realizes that captain and Engie are pretty much reckless and stumble over each other when trying to get things done (especially if they are together, those two can't be left in a room alone it will explode one way or another lol) so he stops worrying about captain trying to hold power over him because clearly they don't really use it in that way. At most they command Engie to help them repair the ship and of course the crew, but they are too selfless to make any of their crew members do stuff potentially dangerous. If anything the captain does all the dirty work themselves constantly tries risky things, which I like to imagine Simon being the rational one out of the three, trying to take some sense into the captain and Engie not to do anything stupid (they still do)

-Simon probably wants to strangle both of them half the time for being idiots but then remembers that they are idiots but at least they got heart so he leaves them be and watches them do their thing, plus he knows he can't be much better than them lol
