I filled out the most honest evaluation yesterday.
I won't go into detail about who it was about or exactly what I wrote down, but I was honest and I tried to cover all the things that needed to be addressed. I can only hope that things will turn out okay.
But I got an A for my card file. That was pretty sweet. I consider that to be the one good thing I took from this class. I plan on doing the same thing in my future career with a string orchestra, to organize method books and solos&ensembles for ISSMA.
But I will say this as a last thing: it was a good decision on my part to do my playing test on euphonium. I liked it and it liked me. If I was a brass player, which I am SO not, that would probably be where my fictional band director would've placed me.
Anyway. I probably shaved a year off my life in stress due to this whole thing that was yesterday. Hell, I feel optimistic about my FSQE, after yesterday.
But I'm going to be okay. I am.
