So I had to do another holter monitor and since I keep having episodes of SVT my doctor prescribed me metoprolol, and holy shit this feels like a miracle drug.. I fucking cried

My heart rate is currently resting at 65-70bpm and this is like unheard of for me… I used to only be able to get my heart rate under 70 if I was asleep or using downers.. this is actually insane to me.

Going in for my stress test tomorrow morning, and my tilt table test is on Monday… Wish me luck

hopefully I’m going to get some real answers for my tachycardia and palpitations, the holter monitors I’ve done detected the issues, but not the cause. Ideally after this testing is all done I’ll have enough of an answer to be put on a proper medication for my symptoms.

My fatigue with these symptoms has genuinely been debilitating, and is part of the reason I’m not nearly as active at the moment, I’m hoping that medication can help with this as well.

So.. New Discovery

For context, I’ve always been interested in the concept of knife play, but never have been able to do anything with it… until now

Happy to say the little guy is structurally normal! I don’t have the same heart valve defect my dad has so that’s one less thing for me to worry about
