i travelled for more than 2 hours, on an empty stomach and being really hot outside, to have my tilt table test, when i got to the hospital they told me they couldn't do it because i had to make three appointments instead of only one cause the test is long, they didn't tell me beforehand and it was THEM who gave me the appointment. im going to scream.

Going in for my stress test tomorrow morning, and my tilt table test is on Monday… Wish me luck

hopefully I’m going to get some real answers for my tachycardia and palpitations, the holter monitors I’ve done detected the issues, but not the cause. Ideally after this testing is all done I’ll have enough of an answer to be put on a proper medication for my symptoms.

My fatigue with these symptoms has genuinely been debilitating, and is part of the reason I’m not nearly as active at the moment, I’m hoping that medication can help with this as well.

On the other hand: I don’t wanna be lightly tortured. There are other diagnostic tests. The NHS are just picky.

had a tilt table test this morning and i still feel so sick and exhausted 10-11 hours later.

i couldn’t hang on after being almost halfway through the upright bit and i was on the verge of throwing up and almost fainted (didn’t lose consciousness but lost hearing, sight, limbs, etc) so they brought me down and gave me iv fluids and put my legs up etc etc. very grateful they didn’t make me finish the second half, they said there was enough information from my first half.

its really hard when you cannot compensate for your symptoms

at least this will make official the unofficial pots diagnosis i have so i can hopefully get treatment for it.
