A few moments before taking this photo, I saw this pensive-looking cat just quietly sitting very still on the pavement with a seemingly sad, faraway look in her eyes. But when she saw me and my phone approach, she turned her attention on me, tilted her head in curiosity, and started motioning to approach me as well (at which point I ended up feeding her and petting her for a bit 'cause I just couldn't resist haha 😂). All of us, at one point or another in our lives, were also like this cat; we may feel stuck and awfully lonely sometimes. But we must remember that we are never alone because we have one another. The people who come into our lives stay for a purpose, while some leave for a reason as well. Those who leave we must forgive and let go, if not for actual reconciliation, but at the very least to have peace within ourselves. Those who choose to stay are whom we should be there for and look after for as much as we can, just as they've also been there for us and looked after us through it all. Most importantly, we have a God who knows the deepest recesses of our hearts and the farthest corners of our minds, the One whom we can always, always speak to, cry to, and run back to whenever we feel lost, scared and alone. 😊 #curiouscat #caringGod #neveralone #keepgoing #sharedlives #freehugs ❤ (at Makati)
