What the fuck was Warren Stone doing for him to get mutated into a worm?
This has been bugging me for a while now and I’ve looked high and low but I can’t find an answer anywhere.
Because with most of the other human-turned-mutants we’re either explicitly shown/told how they got mutated:
Splinter got bitten by a rat
Rupert Swaggert aka Meat Sweats was slapping someone with a hammock when he got bitten by an oozequito
Hypno was shown next to his hippo assistant when he got bit
and Bullhop was said to eat a lot of beef jerky.
OR for mutants who we don’t see transform the viewer can make a plausible inference on how their mutation happened.
Repo Mantis and his cat coming into contact with a mantis is a sensible assumption because he works outside in a junkyard all day.
With the Sando Brothers we can assume that they were either eating crab or had been near crabs; both of which make sense (a/n: according to the wiki they were juggling crabs)
Todd has been shown to provide refuge for animals so the strangest part of him coming in contact with a capybara is that the species lives in South America while they all reside in New York. But maybe Todd had just gotten back from a trip there and was bitten fresh off the plane.
See how these assumptions may be a stretch but at the end of the day makes sense not only story wise but also character wise.
But in what situation would a vain and self absorbed newscaster be within 500 feet of a worm? Like was he filming on location in Central Park or something? But that doesn’t really hold any water for me because Warren doesn’t seem like he would report outside the studio or in nature in general (but that’s just my opinion/interpretation). So what could he have possibly been doing?
Like this is literally driving me insane.
Art 4 @bidonnie cuz there rly ISNT any art of him and Ive never actually drawn him b4
FINE!!! Since no one is willing to vote for acrobatic crab men, I'll make everyone vote for them!!
Which Sando Bro is Better?
Ben Sando ( The bald one)
Carl Sando ( The one with the hair)
OC Musings — regarding the Sando Bros & Rikki. She doesn’t see them in person very often but she watches their late night talk show on her channel 6 phone app when work is slow.
Rikki: (explaining to Clem) These guys can say anything and I’d laugh. Here, just watch…
Ben: BOBCAT.
Rikki: -snort-
Carl: FISH.
Rikki:
After Leo got his sword back, Usagi and the Hamatos chased Akari down to the sewers. There they found the Sando Brothers who tied up Akari for a literal roasting to eat her. Leo has only one thing to say.

I’m assuming the Fantabulous Battle Nexus Wizbang operates on standard Y7 tournament rules, in that the winner is decided when their opponent is knocked out or surrenders, rather than to the death (probably...). It looks like Leo, remembering the events of “Man vs. Sewer”, has decided to intimidate Carl into giving up by threatening to eat him. 🤣🤣🤣
This actually makes sense from a tactical standpoint! Leo’s main advantage is his speed, which he can’t use much of since he’s chained to Carl. And Carl’s large size and sturdy carapace would make him difficult for Leo to knock out barehanded. So Leo’s acting skills are a good thing to fall back on here!
I wonder where Ben is? Did Big Mama pair him up with someone else? Or was he injured back in “Man vs. Sewer”, and she left him behind because she thought he wouldn’t be any good in a fight?
(I think the turtles are chained to their opponents rather than their teammates because these are just the beginning level fights- any turtle vs. turtle matches would happen later, when the stakes are higher.)
