My heart is broken. Completely completely broken.

cartoonpony.tumblr.com has completely left the pony-verse and is no longer drawing ponies. They wiped the blog completely of all pony art and I'm just sad I guess. 

I support them with all my heart to leave, because they inspired me so much and influenced me so much in how I draw ponies. I hope their artist career continues to flourish. I want them to be happy. I'm sure the decision wasn't just out of the blue. I didn't actually know about it until just right now. 

I'll see them on their official uglyfun.tumblr.com blog and continue to love their style, because that's what I fell in love with more.

to get the parents out of the way so the kid can have an adventure. also because they were based on grimm’s tales which were dark as fuck

i mean i get why that happens in the movies that are adaptions of folk tales, it's pretty common for the antagonist in those kinds of tales to be a parent replacement trying to off offspring that arent theirs --- but even the slicey stuff tho, like the ducklings? i remember april, may, and june were living in a single parent household too, even if we never see their (admittedly bio) parent ever, and they never did anything more adventurous than be comical foils to HLD.

maybe im just used to the non-disney comics i read as a kid where the adults and kids go on adventures together

It finally arrived! This is really cool and it comes with some cute stickers :D Unfortunately, it arrived with one of the corners bent. I really regret not participating in this.

A long while ago my friend gave me this journal to write down and keep track of the multitude of ideas that live inside my head. I express them often and she realized that I can barely keep up with myself.

I feel like the sentiment about placing stickers anywhere is more honest than I thought. I was anxious to put it on here, but ponywise's sticker fits perfectly with the idea of too many thoughts to contain on just one page... I think this fits perfectly with my thoughts in the Dream Drop Box.
