Castiel x Reader

Warnings: There is so much fluffy and angsty things! Just a real hit in the feel goods

A/N: After you lose your memory unexpectedly, your brothers hope that your relationship with Cas will spark some remembrance of who you are

“Can I see her yet?” Cas questioned, wringing his hands.

Sam closed the bedroom door behind him as Dean followed, “We explained everything to her, but she’s very disoriented and frankly terrified.”

Dean folded his arms, flexing them as he took a deep breath, “She only remembers a few things from when we were kids. But nothing about the family business or growing up or moving into the bunker or ever meeting you. It’s a hard hit, Cas.”

The angel bit his cheek, “That’s what I figured. But I’m prepared to help her in any way I can.”

Sam nodded, but gave him a sympathetic gaze, “The doctor said that slowly introducing her to her usual routine would bring back some memories. We’ll just have to see. Maybe you could help her out – take her to some of your guy’s favorite spots?”

Cas agreed and followed the two of them back into (Y/N)’s room. She sat cross-legged on her bed, her head in her hands.

Dean came forward and sat near her, “(Y/N)?”

She looked to him, but averted her eyes quickly, “I’m sorry, I’m not used to you looking like that.”

The elder didn’t acknowledge the statement, but continued, “We brought Cas with us. Remember we told you about him?”

“The angel,” she mumbled. “I’m sorry, I just found out that monsters were real and it’s kinda…”

Sam came forward, “We know. It’s a lot to handle, but we’re here to help you regain some sense, alright? We’re just here to help and support.”

“You definitely sound like Sam,” she held a slight smirk on her pained expression. “But you’re way too tall to be him.”

Dean let a small laugh escape, “You used to call him Moose as a joke, it’s actually caught on…”

“Crowley definitely got it from me, although he denies it,” (Y/N) murmured.

Sam unintentionally gasped, “We didn’t tell you about Crowley!”

She let recognition take her gaze, “I remember him.”

The brothers grinned at each other and then to Cas, who was huddled against the wall, unsure of what to do. Dean cleared his throat before gesturing to the angel.

“We figured Cas would be able to help you out a lot, seeing as you spend most of your time with him. I know it’ll be weird, but give it a shot, okay? He’s a good guy.”

(Y/N) bit her lip, but turned to the dark-haired man, “Hi.”

Cas smiled sadly towards her, “You do that all the time, you know.” She gave him a quizzical look before he clarified further, “You bite your lip when you’re nervous. It’s the reason I carry chapstick in my pocket all the time. Just for you to help your chewed lips.”

He went to the front pocket of his trenchcoat and extracted a small cylinder of peppermint chapstick and quietly handed it to her. She took it cautiously and went to smell it.

“It’s my favorite flavor,” she whispered, before applying some of it. “I like the way it tastes.”

Cas nodded, allowing a light smile to appear on his face, “Yes, it’s the same scent of your…”

“Shampoo, perfume, lotion, and… essential oils, right?”

The brothers were almost shocked at the natural and quick response she was having to Castiel. And the angel was even quicker to respond, the smile growing.

“Yes! You only bought the oils because you were tired of the smell of Dean’s constant fast food and Sam’s…”

“Sweaty workout sweatshirts! I remember that!” She seemed to grow more trusting of Cas, brushing the hair hiding her eyes to behind her ears. “Can you come sit by me?”

Dean shifted to stand next to his brother as Castiel steadily moved toward (Y/N) and to the chair by her bed, “Is this alright?”

“Yeah,” she felt her heartrate rise as he leaned forward. “You make my heart jump.”

A sudden hint of a blush went to his cheeks, “You used to always say that.”

“Because it’s true,” (Y/N) smirked. “And it always makes you turn pink; don’t worry, it’s cute.”

Cas consistently flicked his eyes to hers, but averted them for fear of her becoming uncomfortable, “I made a list of things we used to do together before your accident.” He fiddled with his fingers as she played with her tube of chapstick.

“I’d love to do some of those things with you. The doctor said that would help, right?” She asked her brothers.

“Yes, he said pictures, smells, senses, and stories would all help,” Sam replied, feeling excitement course through him at the immensely positive reaction she was having to Cas.

Her shoulders loosened as she found herself shifting closer to Castiel, “For some reason I feel safer with you here. Is that normal? I guess it is, seeing as we date apparently.”

The angel blushed again, failing to hide a grin, “That is correct. We’ve been together for a year, four months, and ten days; the best of my life.”

She let slight tension fill the space before continuing their conversation, “What are the things we used to do?”

Cas seemed excited to pour out his list of activities he had compiled, “We always watch a movie every Sunday, usually something Disney or a romantic comedy. Then we always have date night every Thursday and take turns picking an idea from a jar we made together. We usually take walks in the park a few times a week and stargazing is your favorite thing to do on warm nights – if not you normally cuddle up to…”

“If I remember it correctly, you’re the one that enjoys cuddling more than I do,” she stated, finding the sparks of memory like keys undoing the locks of loss in her mind. “Because it’s always the first thing you ask for whenever you come back from a particularly hard trip.”

She laughed at his sudden sputtered reaction and felt her heart leap at his grin.

“What do you want to do first?”

So reader is a demon who is extremely well-known by both angels and demons as the most fearsome demon. But when Cas meets them, reader is actually somehow a pretty sweet demon who has no control over their fire power and just sets everything on fire by accident? Request: Okay, so I was wondering if you could do a cas x reader where the reader is very shy, and when the reader thinks she is alone she begins singing, but cas hears her and walks into the readers room while she's singing, and the reader doesn't notice he's there until she finishes the song, and when she does notice him she gets really embarrassed, and cas just gives a ton of compliments and tells her to sing more often and it is fluffy? And leads to light smut maybe? Thanks!! ❤

The bunker door slammed closed, signalling the brother’s exit, finally giving you some much needed space. You had been cramped up with them for the past three days in a motel room trying to figure out this case, and when you had eventually gotten back Sam had already found a lead on another case. They had told you earlier today they were going to question some of the victims and offered for you to stay here, acknowledging that you needed time to yourself.

Sauntering into your bedroom, you laid flat on your bed and placed your earphones in and turned on your music, shuffling through your different playlists until you finally found a song that you hadn’t listened to in quite some time. 

Within seconds of the song starting your mouth begun moving on its own, the lyrics falling from your lips freely. Your eyes closed and you relaxed into your bed, allowing the comforter and blankets to swallow you whole.

Castiel’s head rose at your voice suddenly reverberated throughout the bunker, he could feel his heart swell as he listened to you sing effortlessly. He walked through the halls and stopped at the door to your bedroom, watching how you sang, the words holding so much emotion yet you didn’t seem dazed. His eyes travelled down to your fingers that were gently tapping against your own stomach, matching the beat that was flowing through your ears.

His smile spread so far across his face that his eyes were sure to be twinkling in the light. The angel took a step into the room and sat on the chair at your desk, his focus solely on you and your voice filling his ears. 

Castiel had never heard you singing before and he wandered why that was, you had a gorgeous singing voice; he knew that now. He had a faint memory of Sam and Dean poorly singing along to a cassette in the front seats of the impala, but you never joined them, even after the countless times they had tried to persuade you into getting involved into small things like that once in a while. 

He never understood the phrase ‘Their voice as like that of an angel’. Angel’s needed a vessel for them to speak to most humans, how could they possibly know how their real voice sounded? He had tried to speak to Dean with his real voice once and the hunter wasn’t the happiest about it, so why would people have compared others singing to something similar to a high pitched screech? But as he listened to you melodically chant the lyrics to the ceiling of your bedroom, he finally understood what the phrase meant. 

Your voice was smooth like honey being poured out of its container. It was unbroken like a valuable item, needed to be kept protected for all of eternity. It was as graceful as a deer frolicking through the forest, being careful to not tread on any other wildlife through its journey.  

He opened his closed eyes once you had stopped singing, a small proud and loving smile spread across his face, causing his cheeks to raise and his eyes squint the slightest. 

Your own eyes slowly opened as you pulled out your earplugs, comparing the sudden noise drop. Stretching your limbs, you finally sat up on your bed, your eyes dropping to the angel sitting in your desk chair. Shades of red rushed to your face as you realised he must’ve been there for quite some time, he looked rather reclined. “C-Cas!” 

Castiel noticed the different in your voice to when you were singing, it wasn’t smooth or unbroken. Rather, the exact opposite. “Are you okay?” He questioned, raising an eyebrow in concern and interest. “You were fine just moments ago.”

“I-I just wasn’t, um, expecting company. When did you get here?” You nervously asked, playing with the ends of your hoodie sleeves while you anxiously waited for his answer.

“I arrived an hour before Sam and Dean left.” He said, obviously not noticing your self-conscious state. 

How didn’t you notice he arrived? “So you heard all of that, huh?”

His smile quickly returned to his face, making you wonder why he was so happy. “Yes. You have a beautiful singing voice, Y/n.” His words caused your face to heat up even further, your tongue darting out to lick your chapped lips before you spoke.

“You’re just saying that,” 

The angels smile fell once again at your own loathing before moving out of the desk chair and placing himself down in front of you on your mattress. The close proximity made you want to just lean over and press your lips against his. You had always wondered what it would be like to kiss him, but you never had the courage to confess your feelings. “Your voice is one of the best things I have heard in all of my existence, it’s very endearing and relaxing.” 

Your bottom lip was tucked between your teeth, nervously biting it as Castiel continued to compliment you. It wasn’t like you weren’t used to compliments but they were never to do with something you were insecure about, for the most part they were always about how skilled of a hunter you are and how thankful people were that you managed to save them. You never sang in front of anybody because, not only were you shy, but you were insecure about how you sounded, so you weren’t exactly used to hearing such kind words. “T-Thanks, Cas.”

“I’d love to hear you sing more often.” He stated, scooting closer to you. You could feel your heartbeat rapidly increasing with each passing second as he became closer and closer to you until his hand was gently resting on your thigh, a small speck of lust in his eyes as he smiled at you.

“I-I could arrange that,” You stuttered, a genuine smile appearing on your face as his hand cupped the side of your face before he pressed his lips against yours. He moved the hand on your thigh to your waist and gently pushed you backwards so you were laying down, your lips still connected as he threw a leg on either side of your thighs and leaned over to pepper kisses up and down your jaw.

It almost felt like your heart was going to leap out of your chest from all of the affection Castiel was showing towards you. This was the angel that you’ve been crushing over for the past couple of years, and here he was, sitting on top of you and placing kisses all over your flushed face.

Castiel’s grace gently nudged your door closed and locked it as he slowly removed your shirt and pants, leaving you half naked underneath him. Placing your hand on his chest, you could feel his heart beating as fast as yours was. You didn’t think that angels could trigger their vessel’s heartbeat to increase so it made you cock an eyebrow at him in confusion and interest. “I’ve only just recently realised that I have developed strong feelings for you.” He answered your unspoken question.

“I’m glad we feel the same way.” You whispered softly, your hand moving to his buttons to undo them. Once you had all the buttons undone, you slipped your hands into his shirt and rubbed small circles on his hips with your thumbs, enjoying the feeling of his body heat transferring to your own skin. 

You didn’t want to be the only one currently exposed so you pushed his trench coat off his shoulders, watching it fall behind him and onto your feet. Then you pushed off his white button down shirt and unbuckled his belt, letting his dress pants fall the slightest, before you gently kicked the garments off your feet. You were so distracted at his sculptured body that you didn’t even realise that Castiel was doing the exact same to you, his eyes travelling up and down your body with a small smile plastered on his face. “Are you sure you want to do this?” He asked, squeezing himself between your legs.

“Yeah.” You whispered, sitting up to kiss him once more before taking off the rest of your clothes, Castiel quickly following your actions.

Within minutes you had a fine layer of sweat across your skin from all the moving the two of you have been doing. You had forgotten that Castiel didn’t sweat and basically had no limit on his stamina, which wasn’t all bad. “C-Cas,” You whimpered the slightest, your breathing heavy and your voice dry. 

His hips continued smacking against you as he gazed into your eyes, the lust only growing more and more as he observed how you called out for him in your flushed state. “Y/n,” He groaned, his head falling to your neck to press soft kisses against your pulse point. 

Your own hips bucked against him as he kissed and sucked your skin, his lips pecking your skin and allowing you to finally find your release. Cas had found his own release mere seconds after you, his hips faltering ever so slightly before he found the momentum once again, helping the both of you come down from your highs.

He stilled inside of you for a second or longer to take the time to kiss you on the lips, his hand coming up to your face and wiping the hair away from your forehead. “Was that-”

“It was perfect, Cas.” You said, cupping both of his cheeks in your hands and bringing him back down for one more kiss before he finally slid underneath the covers with you, pulling you to his side. You were surprised that the both of you were able to comfortably fit in a single bed, but you didn’t question it. “That was definitely unexpected.”

“I wish I had caught you singing a long time ago.” He smiled as he looked down at you, his hand intertwining with your hair. 

You smiled up at the angel that was holding you close and pressed a soft kiss to his collarbone, the pink tint in your cheeks reflecting off of Jimmy’s eyes. “Me too.”

Who knew that something you’ve been pining over for years actually would happen thanks to something you were insecure of? Wrapping your arm around Castiel’s middle, you rested your head on his shoulder and closed your eyes, wondering what this would bring for the two of you.

Imagine for Cas (Supernatural) breaking the fourth wall and Cas meets his actor? Like in that one episode where Sam & Dean met Misha? Then reader pulled into this (who is friends with Cas) but Misha plays along and pretends to be Cas? So reader has to find out who is the actual one and not the actor? Is this too confusing?
