The Dans were hanging there with the cameras waiting for guests and I just said hey will you take our pictures, but also, can we just be lazy? And they did. And we did. This one goes out to some of my favorite cast members. Always there when you need them with a smile on their face and a artist's soul in their hearts. Not even an hour since opening and I already have another cast member shout out. Bailey at Hollywood Studios was, I believe on custodial duty, when she walked by me sitting on a bench and asked to see my shirt (she had noticed in when we walked in. She didn’t do anything super special... no pixie dust as it were, but we had a very pleasant conversation for a few minutes, she congratulated me on getting a boarding pass for Rise of the resistance and was all in all a sweet girl. Made me feel like I’m home. At the beginning of Traditions this morning when I checked in, they had my full birthname and Orlando as my hometown for my nametag. Obviously, neither of those was correct, nor what I had entered into the system for my nametag, and I was dreading being called up by my deadname in front of everyone to receive my nametag. But I brought it to my facilitators' attention and explained why it was going to hurt so much if I had to wait until I finally meet my management team 6 more training days from now to get it fixed. So not only were Jessica and Maddie truly entertaining and engaging facilitators, but they went above and beyond and ensured that I received the proper nametag by the end of Traditions when they were handed out!
