So on vacation we went to #caveofthemounds and in the gift shop we bought one of those "crack your own #geode " pieces. They're supposed to split in half with a loud pop. Ours made lots of little cracking noises, and then split into three main pieces plus several larger chips. We were so excited though! Sometimes geodes aren't completely hollow and aren't very much to look at once they've been cracked. Ours is gorgeous, and there's a piece for each member of our family.
