How and why did D start tattooing? How did he develop supernatural-friendly techniques?

𝑫 𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒂

D started sketching as a means to keep a connection to his culture. His sire took him away from his land and people and he had to keep to the shadows. He ended up filling the void by learning the various traditional rituals and magics of the indigenous tribes in both Southern and Northern America. Unlike most vampires, he wasn’t as arrogant and discriminatory about talking too and showing respect to other “lesser” creatures and humans so he befriended many of them and they taught him their own magic. 

Through his own trial and error and painful self-practice, he perfected the technique. He started off with seals and curses on creatures who needed (or wanted) help controlling their powers and urges and as word spread of the success of his technique, creatures came from all around to pay for his services and help.

So will this world have a functioning train effect? I mean, will a train effect run through that station or will the track just be deco? Because I've seen in CAW Catalogue there are trains and shizzz, but I don't know if there are train effects - like the hot-air balloon type thing - u kno what I mean?

It won’t have a train effect. There is one, but it only goes straight (has nothing to do with the tracks at all) and the tracks is Greymont Bay are about as straight as a drunk walks a line. So it would have looked pretty horrifying, lol.

It is! I really just wanted a tacky disco bar. And combining that with a roller rink seemed like the way to go!

Lisa Frank definitely did love unicorns. I’m sure once GB is actually up and running, one will visit. Damn wild horses always where they’re not supposed to be.

I prefer simlish also! And I can never have enough commercial signs in simlish. :)

Yes, I much prefer the Simlish. I dunno why my brain defaulted to English when I was doing it. 

Also, it’s not actually a commercial sign. It’s that little night light that came with UNI that I slid up and down the wall (and using decorator’s best friend, slid sideways as well). Then I set all the lights that made up each letter to the color I needed them to be. So if you get super close, you can still see the plug-in part at the bottom. But that part gives the “sign” dimension so it stays.

How old is Marama?

Not very old considering her supernatural status. I would say roughly about 100 years or so. She was born only about 5-6 decades after The Treaty of Waitangi.

You mentioned several times that D is quite old for a vampire, what is the average life expectancy for vampires in your universe/how long do they usually last? How old was the oldest vampire in history? How old is the current oldest?

What is the average life expectancy for vampires in your universe/how long do they usually last? 

New-age more modern vampires have a pretty good life expectancy simply because being a vampire now a days is looked at as something cool and trendy. Ofc the stupid ones get killed off quickly by doing obnoxious, homicidal and dangerous things but they can gain fame and respect from humans because of the supernatural allure. Older vampires are a lot more secretive and rogue. They were created around the time of hunters and superstition. There aren’t near as many old vampires as there are new ones for that very reason and the old rarely see eye to eye with the new ones.

How old was the oldest vampire in history? 

No one knows exactly but the legend of the first vampire goes back millennia and is said to still exist, sleeping deep within the earth of some ancient ruins somewhere. He was said to able to walk in the sunlight and only later generations of his children were cursed with burning in daylight as punishment for their disregard and wanton killing of mankind. Those born directly from his bloodline are said to have the ability to completely withstand sunlight and descendants closely related to him can withstand it longer than others.

How old is the current oldest?This is a debatable topic among the vampire counsel 😂 They argue over it a lot and since the new age of 20th century vampires came about, the old ones have become even more obscure to keep their privacy and secrecy.

When I did the negative personality traits thing I contemplated going through and giving brief bits of insight into each one, but then I didn't have the time for that xD Anyway, I'm here because I want to know in what ways Naethanyl is greedy.

Greedy - I gave him that occasional trait because occasionally he gets greedy and wants every good thing for himself. Its usually an emotional thing. If he’s been getting a lot of a good thing or something he has/had been lacking. He will covet it jealously for a while. He tries not to let it happen too often but most people definitely notice when it does happen.

Besides Marama, do you have an idea of who else is a part of The Atlatl crew (if so who/what types) or so you just have a general conception (like there's x number of ppl that work here etc.)?

There are others but I haven’t worked on them. Its a small shop with a small selective crew. But there is another member of the crew I’ve shown like twice. His name is Kifo. I haven’t worked on him much at all which is why he has no bio on Character’s Page. But I’m planning to set up bio’s for all my characters one by one so I’ll give him more hopefully if I keep him.

What does it mean that Xantha is Esu's "bond daughter"? The mother of all just saw Xantha one day and was like "I like your energy" and they've been hanging out ever since? XD How did this relationship come to be?

😂 Bond Daughter as in, Xantha has been so devoted to her that Esu saw fit to bestow some of her power to her. That power binds Xantha to Esu in a similar way Osiris and Keah are bond to her.
