I just finished catching up with your story and I'm super-duper enjoying it; I really appreciate that I have mixed feelings about a lot of the characters but can usually see their point of view even when they're "wrong." That said, I HATE Liam with the fire of a thousand suns; I think he's gross and unethical. I'm interested in hearing what you or others find good or likeable about him?
Thank you so much for investing so much time and energy in catching up- I'm beyond flattered! It’s been so lovely seeing you in my activity again and I’m loving your new legacy too! You were sorely missed during your hiatus. As for Liam...hmmmm. I don’t think anyone would ever miss Liam! But he doesn't fill me with hatred, he fills me with pity. He's a weak, spineless and pathetic excuse of a man but I do have some sympathy for him. I hoped the scene where his wife threatens to throw herself off the balcony would shed some further light on their relationship and his reason for staying in what is obviously a terribly dysfunctional and unhealthy marriage, but of course it doesn’t excuse his unethical behaviour. Saffron is flattered by the fact he is a teacher (it makes her feel important and sophisticated) and by the poetry he writes in her honour, but she is too lacking in experience and wisdom to properly understand the risks involved in the situation. Liam of course should not have allowed himself to cross such professional boundaries in the first place, but I see him as someone who is more sad and desperate than gross. I would be stretched to find anything good or likeable about him, though. Maybe the fact that he adores his cat and writes poetry means he can’t be all bad? Thank you for the great ask!

You know, it never occurred to me that was what this song was about, I just thought it was a bit weird and the artist like... has a stroke during the chorus. But it makes sense now why that whole group of guys at BlizzCon was so uncomfortable when me and a friend went by arm in arm, singing it at the top of our lungs. XD
I’m not 100% sure that’s actually what it is, there’s just some comments saying that on the video. And it makes more sense than a cake contest or whatever xD

You really don’t, I promise! It’s a thick, frizzy mess most days. Takes forever to blow dry/style when I put the effort into it. The only good thing is that, because of the body, it does tend to hold wave/curls well once done, but still. It’s not hair that you can let air dry and still look like a put-together person! (which works out for 90% hermit life)

I know. When we lived in Virginia (until 2010) I had a stylist I really loved. But when we moved to California, I never ended up finding someone I liked enough to go back a second time. I can be a tad anxious about my hair. So the 5 years we were out there, I think I only got it cut 3 times (right before my husband came home from each deployment, lol). Then we moved here in 2015 and I just never bothered looking for someone.

No, don’t be! My ends were in really sorry shape. Super split and dry, snarled really easily. My hair feels so much healthier now.

Maybe just a trim if you need it. I’ve seen older people with fabulous long hair. If you want it long, go for it no matter how far in the future! I can’t imagine ever having short-short hair, no matter how old I get (unless I get my great-grandmother’s curse of having hair so thin it’s just wisps, then I guess long would be silly)

Glad I’m not the only one that puts it off for ages! I’ve donated my hair twice and never had to cut it past my shoulders to do it since my hair grows pretty fast and I go awhile between cuts. Didn’t this time though because it was not pretty, healthy hair.

hi it looks so pretty!!! i was the same way before I got pregnant this april. I had it SUPER LONG and once I got pregnant I just chopped it off! and now I dont throw it up in buns either hehe. looking good!!!!
It’s freeing in a way, right? Don’t constantly feel like it’s all over the place and getting in the way. I’ve actually slept with it down. It hasn’t been up in a bun/pony once so far since the cut. Of course, today is also a hair wash day (because it’s so thick, I only wash my hair every other day/every 3rd day) so we’ll see what happens once it doesn’t have the sleek blowout that the stylist did. lol
before we get started lets talk about where i was! I spent 8 of the last 14 days backpacking in California and actually this is the first time I’ve typed more than a few words on a keyboard in about three weeks and it feels really weird... Like I thought I was a slow typer before. Anyhow I’m back now and slowly getting used to civilization and my computer. I’ve decided that I’m going to put Habbit MNSC on a tiny hiatus (which doesn’t really mean much to y’all because I still have a ton of pictures left to post) and start a new legacy. At the moment I’m thinking it’ll be a random legacy, but we’ll see how it goes! I may be a it unactive on here as well because I have a ton of school work to finish by the end of August, so wish me luck!

I think the whole thing was really hard for her because first Ralph was super upset with her because of the secret that she used to be immortal and then just as they were rekindling their love he died.. (to be honest with you they both died before their time, I just really don’t like elder sims and wanted to progress with the story)

I'm genuinely curious how Bunty explains to herself the fact that Sonia is a lesbian who obviously made or was pushed to make and live with the wrong life choice? How Roy staged that?? 😂 I'm also fascinated by Georgie. I'm not blaming her for her feelings - she is a human being and we are envious animals. I prize her for standing up for her brother despite them. And if she doesn't drop that stance after she hears about Roy's betrayal she's becoming my favorite!
Bunty I think believes that Sonia can’t be a real lesbian....otherwise how could she have married Roy and had children with him? But I know what you are saying...the whole marriage break-up is just to spite her, lesbianism included, lmbooo!! I don’t even think Bunty could be that deluded, but she definitely thinks Roy chose to be with Saoirse out of spite. It will take a lot to convince her otherwise.

On the other hand, she doesn't realize just how much of a betrayal this is since she has no clue of the conversation that already took place between her mother and Vinnie. *sigh*
Yes, I wanted to make it clear that Georgie was never going to be able to go down the same road as Roy (at least not yet, and not until she’s worked through a lot of stuff) and I’m glad you didn’t judge her too badly for that. Thank you guys for your response on the Satellite family! As they’re my side save I don’t think I’ll be playing them that often, as most of my sim-time goes to the Fletchers, but I’m not going to abandon them. Especially when it comes to Shirley’s plot twist that I mentioned somewhere in the tags... (by the way, to clarify, Shirley is agender and is referred to as they/them but doesn’t really mind other pronouns). And I just noticed I named Julianne after my grandpa and cousin, as they’re Julian and Juliana respectively :D (random facts when I’m in a talkative mood). I can only hope I’ll get attached to the kids and reach second generation unlike it was in my berry rainbowcy that I posted from time to time. (not saying I won’t be playing the Fireflies anymore, maybe someday but not now)

You can reset his walk using an NRAAS mod. Can’t recall off the top of my head which one but Overwatch or DebugEnabler perhaps? It’s not one of the obvious ones.
