hi just thinking about how cb!apo was fumbling her way around an axe and completely missing half her targets, which were tree trunks btw. vs v!apo, who kills v!scott with an axe no less than four times, there's something here but i can't articulate it

What if cb!Apo is alway afraid of being too much for someone? What if they are aware of how clingy they can be? What if one day cb!Cherri ends up snapping at them during a moment of frustration about something else? What if that leads Apo to be too afraid to show any more physical affection? Afraid that it will make Cherri want to leave her. Cherri misses Apo's physical affection but struggles with asking for that affection back. So Apo just thinks that Cherri is happier without Apo's constant affection.

hc that cb!apo wanders off so frequently that cb!cherri just starts holding onto her so she can't get lost. like it starts with cherri dragging apo around by the wrist and ends with her constantly holding apos waist or hand
