Unless you can speed up time or magically restore my power, then no, probably not much you can do to help. A very mysterious gray creature came to me, and it seemed to have the ability to take magic away. It said I would be powerless for a whole 2 days. It’s already felt like two years to me. I’m so bored I can barely stand it. At least when this happened with Lord Tirek, I wasn’t bored to tears! I suppose I’m fine other than that, and being annoyed out of my mind. Thank you though, Celestia, for your concern. It’s very appreciated.

[[Non-RP related question, but I noticed you've mentioned kids and teaching a few times? If it's not too much trouble, could I ask some advice on getting into that career field? I'm looking into Elementary Ed and am not really sure how to even get my foot in the door, so some advice from someone in that line of work would be really helpful, if you have any.]]

Hey sorry this took so long to get to! Haven’t logged on in a while.

I’m not sure I have much advice for getting your foot in the door, specifically, besides just making sure to be involved with your professors and people who will be willing to give you a recommendation later. Make sure you conduct yourself well — as an Elementary teacher, you know, you shouldn’t do things like going around cursing and what not.

Keep your grades up. If you have trouble with that, get help early on. I’m not sure how it is for every state, but here you need to pass every one of your EDU classes with at least a C, or you’ll have to take it over, and I know at least at my college you don’t have time to take classes over. You’ll need a certain GPA to get into the School of Ed (which you apply to sophomore-ish year and it basically says you can take all your higher EDU courses.) I think they upped it here at least from 2.5 to 3-something.

My biggest recommendation would be that if you haven’t worked with kids yet or not in a school setting, do your best to get a feel for that early on. The worst thing is to end up heading into Observing and Student Teaching in senior year realizing you hate kids. Ask if you can shadow teachers, get input from your trusted professors, etc.

Also understand that you don’t go into teaching to make money. Really, in the US, it can be a shit job. We’re under appreciated and a lot of shit is placed on us. It’s going to be stressful. Teachers teach because we have a passion for it, because we love our kids and want to do our best to get them ready for the future. Our fulfillment comes from knowing we taught our kids something. Not because it’s easy or because we make good money.

And if your college is anything like mine, senior year is going to be hell. So make sure you get as much done before your last year as you can.

Oh, well, that’s a bit of a tough question! I mean, I’ve learned a lot of important lessons since Twilight and I have been in Ponyville, and they’ve all helped me be a better friend to everypony. I don’t think I could pick just one as the most important I’ve learned.

Well, he's not really a big fan of showing emotion - not the mushy kind anyway. And, he's not very good at it when attempting. It would take a lot to get him genuinely crying, honestly, as sad isn't a frequent emotion with him.

If he were to cry, he'd disappear to be alone, letting tears fall silently. Though if he were sobbing, that'd be more choked, like he's still trying to hold back his emotions even though he's alone. He's not a pretty crier heh heh

But yeah any which way we go about it, Luna will still react negatively. Though, at least, she wouldn't physically lash out at her unless really rubbed the wrong way. It's just more closed off.

Yus I did think it was important to make my Celestia have a few more flaws just as my Luna did, so their struggling relationship makes more sense. Though it's perhaps not as intense as emotionally disconnected, it's more... hmm... words... It's more caution.

She knows full well that Luna is mercurial, and that attempting to "make up" could just as easily make things worse, and Celestia doesn't want to push Luna's limits. She also doesn't want to have to banish her again, because she is still her little sister and saw how much the banishment only made it worse. But where they are right now is okay, in that Luna isn't trying to kill Celestia nor take her thrown, and so long as they can at least coexist, Celestia is content.

She's just very careful around Luna, and she also knows that she will get incredibly frustrated with Luna if they do start talking about all their problems, (because let's face it, they're still sisters, and having a little sister of my own, i know are arguments can get intense even when it's arguing over trying to make a situation better) and again, doesn't want that to happen because it'll make things far worse and put her kingdom in harms way.
