Thinking about Ajax and Emmie still calling Rondael Ronnie

Even when Ajax tells him that he hates him, they still call him Ronnie

Even when Ajax is mad at him for leaving

Even when they’re complaining about him opening the box

They both call him Ronnie, because they may both be mad at him, and pissed that he isn’t on their team, but he’s still important to both of them, and they still care

Thinking about Rondael’s reason for not rejoining Ajax and Emmie

Because a part of him wants to, a part of him wants it to go back to normal with him on their team and them all just having fun and messing around, but he knows that he can’t

He knows that he can’t be on a team anymore, and he wants them to win, he believes that they can win

And he can’t be the one to hold them back

He can’t be the reason people target them

He’s public enemy #1 right now and if he’s on their team then that makes them enemy #1 too by association and he cant do that to them

He cares too much about them to do that to them

Even if it’s really hard for him to ever admit that

Thinking about how Ajax when asked saying that Rondael will absolutely kill them if he gets the chance

And Rondael saying that he really doesn’t want to fight Ajax and Emmie and how he guesses that if they get in his way during the dragon fight he’ll have to fight them, but that he really doesn’t want to

Something about Rondael acting cold to Ajax and Emmie when they saw each other at the start of the season and Ajax assuming he wants them dead,

Something about Rondael missing the both of them so much that he was thinking about betraying his team to rejoin them

Thinking about Rondael’s reaction to getting the messages from Ajax

His “… there isn’t anything I can do for you, I can’t do anything for you, I can’t be anywhere for you” when he first gets the message from Ajax, because he wants to help them, he wants to be there for them, but he can’t because he knows that’ll just put them in more danger

And his reaction to Ajax saying that he could help and that they don’t want him to be alone, his pause when he gets that message because them caring about him makes this so much harder, he wants to tell them to leave him alone, that this is his purpose that this is how it’s ment to be, but he can’t fully bring himself to do that to him, can’t bring himself to fully push them away

Ronndael’s little “you guys do know I didn’t do it on purpose” when talking about them not being on their team

And Ajax’s sad “yeah… at least now I know that” in response because they spent so long being so mad at him for leaving

They spent so long wanting him dead because he left them and he didn’t care

But now here he is in the spawn house with them joking around and showing off all the new magical things they’ve all discovered and he does care

He might now have shown it before, but he does care, and they can tell that he cares

Rondael didn’t immediately go to fight Ajax when they pulled him away from his team, he didn’t even threaten them, or taunt them, he just asked them what was up, why they wanted to talk to him

He didn’t get hostile or rude until they threatened him, he said it himself he wasn’t going for people this time and he wasn’t very interested in fighting(specifically he wasn’t very interested in fighting them, he cares about them, he doesn’t want to have to fight him)but that’s not what Ajax wants

Ajax is mad

They want him dead

They wanted him dead because he let them get attached and then he left

They wanted him dead because he left them and he doesn’t care

They want him dead even more now, because now he almost killed them, they almost died to him, he’s not on their team, and he left them, and he’s stronger than them right now, and he almost killed them, and he doesn’t care

And if he doesn’t care than neither will Ajax,

But he does care, he might not show it because he knows that’s a weakness, but he does care, he doesn’t immediately fight him because he still cares, he doesn’t immediately insult them because he still cares, he doesn’t fully chase after him because he still cares

Ajax’s pause when they realize that Ronnie is online, their slight panic before they message him because what if he left them again- what if he was to late and Ronnie had found a new team- what if he had lied at the end of the last season- what if he didn’t want them to team with him- what if he didn’t care

How when they find out that he only has one teammate, they say that now he has one more, not waiting for him to invite them, not giving him the opportunity to hurt him like that again, not giving him the chance to leave them again
