Day 2 taco experimentation. @certifiedangusbeef Sirloin Steak cooked with @westtexasrub Mesquite Flavored Steak Seasoning on my wife's homemade tortillas and with her rice. Garnished with tomato, onion, @texaspetesauces and some tomatillo salsa and finished with some Cotija cheese. When I was in school I played sax in a jazz ensemble. Sometimes it was bebop, smooth jazz, pop hits, big band, or my favorite: blues. During that time I learned the art of improvisation. I use that when I cook too. A lot of the time a meal comes together based on what's in the fridge and not always planned ahead of time. This is one of those times where what I put down as an improv type of taco came through with all the great flavors melding together and it was completely satisfying.
