I've been going swimming a lot to satisfy the Dolphin and Mermaid Urges™️, and specifically I am learning to do full body undulations and dolphin kicks because that's how mermaids swim. I'm getting really good at them, and I've been so so so so happy!!!!! when I get out of the pool after long stretches of swimming, I can still feel the gentle waves I make for several hours afterwards. it's soothing. I'm hoping to get a cloth mermaid tail someday soon, after I have practiced with fins and then a monofin. also as a pagan, it feels very devotional and sacred to be in the water for extended periods of time, and to move in an undulating way where my body is one with the water
ive seen a ton of cetaceans say that they were forced to turn into humans.
but are there any cetaceans who WILLINGLY became human? not by being bribed by some govt? either by reincarnation or transformation?
🧵
The urge to jump into the water and swim with your species. Then you remember you're in this human body.
frutiger aqua / aero as a dolphinkin makes me very happy actually. or really anything vibrant and water themed… ^^
